Four adults and two teenagers travelling
Beautiful well kept site.
Our two vans arrived at Hobby after a long journey from France. Heidi gave us an in depth run down of all the facilities and rules of the campsite. She showed us to our pitch and checked the polarity of the electricity for us. She told us that she likes a nice peaceful site and does not like anyone who likes to make a noise. They can go elsewhere in her opinion.
The site is in a stunning location the views are second to none. It is within easy walking distance of Interlaken, if you don’t want to walk then Heidi gives you a free bus pass when you arrive.
The site is spotless. Toilets, showers and wash up areas are immaculate. Heidi’s shop has a supply of basic groceries and you have to order your bread the day before. This comes from an award-winning baker and it tastes great. The shop is opened from early in the morning till after 7 at night. The pitches are of reasonable size so that I did not feel packed in like sardines unlike some campsites I have stayed at in Interlaken
Heidi is great for giving information on the local area. She is an animal lover with a dog and two cats so she knows where to take the dog a walk, she has lots of information on cycle routes etc.
I can’t rate this place highly enough.
