“Great experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

Took my two little girls to see the penguins. Our tour departed at 6:15pm and there was about 7 people on the 'walk' to see the penguins. The guides were really knowledgeable and friendly. What I appreciated the most was the guide let my 2 yr old daughter hold the torch (facing the sand) she was so excited and allowed her to focus on the penguins & less on the cold weather (take your warm clothes!). We saw about 100 penguins. Have previously been to Phillip Island in Victoria and this was much more personal, you can really see the little guys and much less crowded.

“First Rate Experience, Such Cute Little Guys !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

A most enjoyable and extremely educational evening ! Fortunately for us we arrived on an "Adults entry for the Children's Price" night, so we adults were permitted in for the modest price of $10 each. Our Tour Guide, Shirley was extremely friendly, knowledgable and keen to show us the delightful Penguins. After a few rules we were off down the path to the viewing platform, where we were given the educational information about the Penguins, their habits etc., most interesting. After approx 20 minutes the Penguins began appearing on the beach after swimming in. Soon we were back up towards the path towards an area where the Penguins join the track........ and a couple joined us as we remained extremely still. Standing between the legs of a couple of our Tour party members !! Brilliant !! Main rule is that there is NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY allowed as it can damage the Penguin's eyesight as they don't have any eyelids. Our Tour guide had a specially filtered spotlight and Tour members were able to take photos using this light.

“Great Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2012

Nice and remote, away from the more established penguin tours. Hence a much personal experience

The guide is well awared of the penguins wherabouts and certainly very entertaining and knowledgable.

We went in early june and are very surpraise to get to see 80-100 penguins making their way up the burrows in 2-3 batches. The guide brought us very close and allow the penguins to waddle rigth past us. Fantastic Feeling!

“OUTSTANDING, better than Philip Island!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2012

Amazing experience, the penguins actually walk over your feet. The guides are brilliant and the whole thing is so well worth it.
Far more intimate and "up close and personal"than Philip Island.
