arrived in hotel at 8pm on a thursday evening, and checked in, given a room on 3rd floor, when i opened the door to the room the 1st thing I noticed was the dreadful load traffic noise, went back down to reception and said not a hope could I sleep in that room and I wanted to be moved to the other side of the hotel which would be quieter. I was giving room 152, which was a very nice big room, no traffic noise and was happy out. Turned on TV to chill out to discover that BBC 1, ITV & BCC 24 were not working, rang reception in case it was a connection fault but they never came back to me. One thing I noticed was it must be a family room as there was a interconnecting door to the next room, well about 11pm I could hear every and I mean every single word the gentleman was saying next door (he was on the phone), it was like he was standing in my room, it got so bad I had to ring his room and explain that I could hear everything he was saying. Got up in the morning for breakfast which I must say was horrible, the scrambled eggs had no taste, the orange juice (NOT fresh) seemed to be off, and really was not up to a 4* standard. I usually stay in the Park House Hotel in Eyre Square which is fantastic and will be returning to them again.
