“Beautiful, pristine while beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

This would have an excellent rating, if the water wasn't quite so chilly there in the summer. Other than that, it is a wonderful hidden gem of a beach on the South/Western Shore of NS.

“You'll think you're south”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2012

Beautiful white sand beach - feels like powder under your feet. Beware though, the water is very cold - even in the middle of summer. There aren't any restaurants close by, so you'd better pack a lunch and enjoy a full and relaxing day with very few people around you.

“A beautiful beach to spend the day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2012

If you are traveling along the # 103 hwy between Liverpool and Shelburne you should stop along this area and walk the beach, there is a beautiful hotel/motel overlooking this beach and a very nice restaurant to eat and enjoy the view. The beach is good for swimming but can be somewhat cool in the summer so be brave. there should be lots of room and this a supervised by the Province of Nova Scotia.
