This is a really nice little pub in a lovely rural spot. Our room, though a tad compact, had neutral contemporary decor, comfortable furnishings, was spotlessly clean, and had a very nice modern bathroom. But what really stood out for us was the warm welcome and service, which was pitched at just the right level. Breakfast was great too, and they were more than happy to accommodate my vegetarian boyfriend! We also had two excellent evening meals in the pub/restaurant. You're quite off the beaten track here - no mobile phone or TV signal! - but I'd definitely recommend it for a weekend break away from it all.
