I have never been to such a welcoming B&B ever! When Maggie realised I was on my own whilst my husband was sea kayaking she gave me some fantastic tips for seeing the area. Breakfast was a real treat with the FRESH fruit salad and full scottish setting me up for the day. Her thoughtfulness and the time she spent chatting every morning was well beyond the call of duty. Phil and Bobby (the dog) were equally welcoming. The bed was comfortable (I never think that) the room was really spacious with arm waving steam train drivers in one window and an amazing view of the sands on the other (binoculars thoughtfully provided to scan for the elusive otter!)
Above all I cannot fault the room, bathroom, homemade shortbread, breakfast and above all the Hospitality demonstrated during my 4 day stay, if only all B&B's could take some tips from them. Having stayed at mainly 5 star hotels in my travels I can honestly say this knocked them into a cocked hat. Well done and we WILL be back.
