I stayed at The Hawthorns with my sister and niece and my dog Archie. Our rooms were very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Small touches such as a jug of fresh milk and orange juice in the mini fridge were very nice. The food was superb. We had dinner and Teresa's cooking is deliciousb. Would highly recommend this as it's very friendly and dog friendly too.

Teresa is a wonderful hostess. Nothing was too much trouble. Very spacious and comfortable room. Breakfast meal was excellent, far too much for me. Teresa also provided 3 course dinner in evening which also was excellent. She has a lovely home near Castle of Mey, John O'Groats, & Dunnett Head. I stayed two nights & would stay there again if near Thurso.

Owner of this B & B have added modern rooms with good en suite facilities. The breakfast for the four days of our stay were some of the best of our two weeks in Scotland.
Easy to find but remote from the rest of the twoens ..you have to drive to get anywhere.
