We stayed at Twin Oaks on 2nd April before embarking on a 2 week cruise. It was the start of the new holiday season and Chris and Carol had added a 3 bedroomed ground floor annexe to the Guest House, a minute's walk from the main house. Since our previous stay in December 2112 they had completely renovated and refurbished the annexe which is very private and extremely comfortable. We had the honour of being the first guests to stay in this building and it is perfect for anyone with mobility problems. The rooms are individually decorated and furnished to the highest standard. A lot of thought and hard work has gone into this additional accommodation. We had a very comfortable night and retained our room, at no extra cost, until we were transported to the cruise terminal by Mary and Jim, two wonderful people, at 1pm. They also met us on our return to pick up our own car which was parked at Twin Oaks for the duration of our cruise. A welcome pot of tea was awaiting our arrival and was very much appreciated. We recommend this Guest House, the food, the ambience and friendliness of Carol, Chris, Mary and Jim, without reservation.
