“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

Lovely Italian restaurant in Potters Bar. Excellent food - very friendly staff. The owner, Enzo, is the perfect host and will adapt a menu, if necessary, for us as we have allergies. Specials menu is always brilliant and excellent quality. New love this place.

“Disappointing!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Second visit here, but since moving out of the area, we have not been in for a year or so. Having booked beforehand, we were phoned on the day to warn us that as their card machine was broken and they could only accept cash for payment. Greeting on arrival was friendly and the service was efficient. As restaurants always do, first call was for drinks. The wine list on offer was OK. However, one of our party ordered a campari and soda, which when it arrived did not appear to contain any campari. On pointing this out, her drink disappeared behind the bar and was then returned, still (she said) without any clear infusion of campari. The menu choice was good, but if you did not want pizza, you were into main course choices priced around £17.00 each. The average starter price is £6.00 and while none of these prices are especially over the top (although they are high for a small provincial bistro) what was disappointing was the size of the portions. Again, you can have "side orders" but that is an additional expense. A meal of six starters, six mains, 3 desserts, 2 bottles of wine and 3 drinks cost nearly £200.00. The whole experience was just OK!
