“Value for money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Paying only £30 for a double room for the night, I wasn't expecting much, but it was better than expected. Double bed was comfy, heating effective, bathroom clean and functional. It was also remarkably quiet, except for the noise of the room upstairs and someone banging to be let in at midnight and out again at 6am.

Downside--bottom sheet didn't fit and so we were sleeping on the mattress by the morning. The towels were the size of postage stamps. And seriously, buy some new pillows. No bedside lights.

Room Tip: The floors seemed to be very squeaky from below, so maybe ask for an upstairs room.

At £25 a night i didnt know what to expect but was pleasantly suprised. Room was clean and tidy with a double bed not two singles pushed together and a en suite. The only problem i had was they wasnt doing food that night or breakfast in the morning as manager was going on holiday and decided to close the kitchen but could have brought in a takeaway and eaten at the tables. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would i stay here again yes without a doubt.
