“Lovely!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2012 via mobile

Last minute decision to have lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though it was really busy, staff were very attentive, food was outstanding! Will definitely go back.

Stumbled across traversing the Gower.

The room was small but well appointed and clean.

The meal was superb.

As was breakfast.

And the service night and morning.

Stayed for two nights B&B for Son's Wedding. As you walk in on a cold winters day the warmth and smell of the open log fires is the first thing that greets you, wonderful! The food was great, and reasonably priced, with a good selection of beers. The accommodation is 1st Class, you couldn't wish to find a better place to get married in and accommodate your family and friends. 'AVALON' where the wedding ceremony took place, is the perfect setting with open exposed beams and overlooking the gardens and the valley stretching out in front of you. The staff are a credit to the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

Stayed in the King Arthur Hotel for a wedding - First impressions were of a lovely, cosy, welcoming place. The bar area was very comfortable, with an excellent selection of real ales on tap - Food was also very tasty and surprisingly reasonable given the quality

The room we had was excellent - Old fashioned brass double bed, nice views, roomy, excellent bathroom.

The hotel offers free wi-fi - Which was a godsend as the location of Reynoldston is very remote, and it is difficult to pick up any sort of phone signal.

If i was passing through the area again I would definately pay another visit here - Highly recommended

Room Tip: Room 1 is larger and more comfortable than some of the other rooms

Hi stayed there last night for a wine tasting by Fine Wines Direct and excellent cuisine provided by the kitchen of the King Arthur. The food, service and ambience for the meal was top class. Our room in the old part of the hotel was spacious, spotless, large en-suite. Tea making facilities were provided. All the staff were so helpful. Log fires in abundance throughout the hotel and a real buzz in the bars and restaurants, proving that it is well patronized by the locals. The function room is amazing, high vaulted ceilings, We live a 30 minute drive away but will certainly be taking our regular houseguests for a trip out there for lunch.

Room Tip: I would imagine that all the rooms are great. We were on the first floor in the old part of the hot...

A belated rivew of our vist, October 2011: a second, thoroughly enjoyabl;e visit - staying in a lovely, first floor room in the annexe, overlooking fields, hills and sheep!
Room and bathroom completely clean, ditto tea and coffee making stuff.
An easy wander down to the main building where one has the choice of dining in the small restaurant or 'no kids' bar, seemingly favoured by the locals - lovely food in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Outside heater allows eatinbg/drinking/smoking outside the pub.

Room Tip: Annexe is lovely. Never stayed in main building. First floor rooms in Annexe facing south west hav...
