Had heard that the Robin Hood had opened again and supposedly much improved, so we went for an early supper with a couple of friends.
We both had the burgers, which despite asking for medium-rare, came out well-done, very salty and not a lot of flavour (other than salt)! Also the chips had been scattered with copious amounts of rock-salt. Altogether, way too much SALT! One of my friends had the fish & chips which were way over-cooked! The only shining light was the real ale!
Sorry, but won't be visiting here again!
Just where can you go in Northumberland to get a good meal (apart from the Barrasford Arms)? I am beginning to despair!
