Great selection of historical motor vehicles, classic cars of all types, they are in the process of expansion and this should make it even better.
The cafe offered good quality simple food at reasonable prices, the entrance fee allows you to return free for a year.

“Not really into cars but still enjoyed the time I was here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Visited a bit randomly as neither my husband or myself are particularly interested in cars and ALL the technical information went right over my head ~BUT~ ended up spending a good few hours here and really enjoying myself, for me it wasn't just about the cars but the "trip back in time" remembering family members etc have certain cars and indeed seeing cards I had only previously seen in a top trumps game!

They do need to add some additional toilets, I can imagine what it must be like on a busy summer day with just 1 toilet each for ladies and gents. The cafe needs rethinking, The food was ok (to good) not great value and I found the cardboard plates a real turn off. Do feel there should have been either a reduction on the entry of even a £1.00 or maybe a voucher for a free drink in the cafe to compensate for some of the areas being shut but also the noise and disturbance of concrete being laid and construction workers wandering around.

Still a good half day out and I was left pleasantly surprised by just how much I had enjoyed it.

“Work in progress”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Very helpful volunteers. 5 year old grandson enjoyed 'helping' to make a model car. Much more could have been done to make it all more interesting to children although they quite enjoyed the visit.

“Haynes 2012”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

Haynes motor museum is a great place to visit for classic car enthusiasts and when we visited in may 2012 they were preparing for expansion.

The red room in the centre of the museum was full of some great cars ( all red) and am looking forward to our next visit to see how the expansion has improved what is a nice attraction.

“The new building should make this 5*”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

As it is, if you're a petrol-head you'll love it, if not then you will be bored, I'm the former. They are rebuilding the museum, if they use the new building wisely, show the cars better, make it more interactive and change their displays, it will easily be a 5 star attraction.
