Ok to sum this up - blooming brilliant. It will not take all day, but there are so many buildings that are complete that it gives a fascinating insight into a past long gone. Whilst at the same time not pushing history into your face. I have visited 3 times over the last 15 years and real progress is being made in the restoration of this monument. More importantly in these times the admission price (For non English heritage members) is under a fiver for adults and kids are free. (No play area for the kids though but loads of grass to run around on)
