We went toBLR 2 times.we confirm as a nice and relaxing place now that Boat Terminal works ended.Rooms are agreeable but refreshing peinture and furniture is necessary.Buffet food average,Restaurants too expensive .Finally the Rice as value for money is the best.Turists from Europe or Asia have to consider Bintan as Singaporeans beach,for quality and price,and not Indonesia.Staff is educated smiling and professional.In our case due to a ferry delay a room has been put at our disposal by the Tcketing Manager.Thanks.Massages and golf very very good.What extremely disappointing pay sgd 20 per day if you want wifi in room.In all hotels I visited was included in the price.Unbelievable..............Massimo e Paola

when return, can take ferry from the hotel pier directly & no need to go back to the public ferry station that is quite convenience & save a lot of time
atmosphere - very relax and tranquil
breakfast - good when compared with other restaurants in the hotel
coffee break - sandwiches are delicious

Cons :
room - not too small & not too big. suggest to take out the stand because of useless
bed - a little bit small
Pillow - too soft
Mattress - not very soft, but not hard enough
Quilted cover - not warm & not soft enough
Japanese, Chinese, outsides buffet & BBQ - not delicious
too long queue for cooking eggs???
washroom - a little bit old & need renovation
need to pay more attention on the maintenance for the hotel

I was really concerned when my partner and myself booked 12 nights at this resort last August, as we failed to read trip advisor before booking..... So glad we didn't read all the negative reviews as we had a thoroughly wonderful time. I will agree with some of what is written I.e. The resort is now starting to get tired in some areas but it is clean and of the exact standard that I expected for the price of the holiday. Our room was cleaned thoroughly everyday and fresh fruit was delivered regularly and it had everything and more that was needed for a comfortable stay. The bathrooms were in need of a revamp but they were clean.
The main buffet was also as expected not exceptional but clean and the staff were attentive all of the time.
Rice (the beachfront restaurant) however was great firstly the food , we ate here most lunchtimes and evenings and did not have a bad meal it is a fairly simple menu but was cooked to a great standard. The staff were exceptional two many to name but Mey and li were great and made us feel so welcome.

The service at the pool bar was great the food is what you would expect.

The drinks in the resort were very overpriced but they do offer happy hours at all facility's at different times you just have to look for them. The food was not overpriced it was fantastic. Mediterranean restaurant also great.
I hope that all of these negative reviews don't put people off going to this great hotel and would advise that if you are after a six star resort then pay more for it. I have been to smarter classier hotels but I Paid more for it per night and they certainly never offered the exceptional service of all the staff who work as hard as they can to please.

We got a good deal for what was supposed to be an SGD 380/night room which we got at a discounted rate of SGD 240/night from an online hotel booking website. Stayed for 3 days 2 nights thinking it would be a great escape for the Christmas holidays but it turned out to be one big nightmare! We have to wait for about 1hr as our room was not ready. Our bed was full of ants and the room smelt of bad humidity. The toilet has seen better days and the full length mirror was not even properly cleaned. We could see the expletive word written across the mirror probably done by the previous guest.
At night, I almost slipped and fell when I found a puddle on the floor from the leaked airconditioning system. Next morning, we found ants crawling on our bed again. We immediately asked for a room change and was told to wait as there was no availability. Waited the whole day and only got our room at 4.30 pm. The free archery session when you signed up for their journeyful website was misleading. We were told that it was only 10 arrow shots instead of the one hour shown on the card and if we need to play more we have to pay SGD 9.90 for another set of 10 arrows!! It is best that you have SGD dollars with you instead of rupiah cause their exchange rate is ridiculous.
Breakfast was aplenty of cheap food and the restaurants were very expensive. Did not deserve the 4 stars, it could just be a 3 stars. No wonder they are the only resort available when every where else were fully booked!
