“Very nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

I was just 1 night in this hotel, "family" feeling, nice, room is fully equipped (I was ground floor, 10h50 is the room number). The hotel is a small building (see pic), nice, nice people, very comfortable for public transportations.
Good: room is quite large, equipped, free wifi, right price, silence.
Bad: some corners of the room were not clean, moquette in the floor.
I had breakfast at separate cost, but it's nice (see pic).
Pics of the room are attached.
Notes: there is no wardrobe but the room is equipped with a practical open air wardrobe where you place your clothes. Safe, tv flat, possibiities to have your clothes ironed, and more.

The small staff was very helpful regarding transportation and where to park and their English was good. We were able to find street parking in a residential neighborhood a few blocks away. The rooms are small but very clean and nicely decorated. I give them an average rating because they are so small. The breakfast room in the basement is nice with a good variety of cold food for the 15 euros. There is a nice neighborhood boulangerie a few blocks away and a wonderful restaurant right across the street where we ate dinner twice. Taking the bus into Geneva was easy and the hotel provides a free transportation pass for the time you are there. Our wifi on the third floor was fine. If you don't mind staying outside the city it's a good hotel. It's nicer inside than the outside photo would lead you to believe. I felt like a resident rather than a tourist.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms were pretty much the same (small) size. There was no noise in the hallway and...

A little out of Geneva but with easy access thru public transport or taxi, the hotel is week on service (reduced presence) and has no facilities (no parking but you find places nearby, no receotion room, no bar) but the price is fair and the bedrooms are very nice.

Nice, clean and well maintained hotel close the industrial zone in Plan-les-Ouates. Ok but cold breakfast buffet. The Wi-Fi is free but super crappy. (I bet they have the same issue as many small hotels, they use a cheap 16 user router set to a default 24h IP lease which fills up too fast)

The staff in this hotel were exceptional ! We were welcomed by Charlene who was extremely helpful and smiling when we checked in. Her English was excellent and she was very patient at explaining bus routes and taxis to us. The government give free bus passes to the hotels for you to use during your stay and this hotel was about 15 minutes from the centre. She also gave us a map and directions to various places/bars. She even gave us a recommendation of a restaurant called Les Arnures by the cathedral in the old part of Geneva, which was excellent.
There was FREE wifi and use of computer in the reception and Sarah was very helpful with printing out our boarding cards as print link wasn't working so she took time using her memory stix. Buffet continental breakfast was very good with plenty of coffee. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had room 11.40 (rooms based on time !)on the first floor facing the back of the hotel, no road so very quiet. We bused it back to the airport with our free pass that was valid until midnight, one change but very easy. It cost us €45 in a taxi when we arrived. Would recommend for short stays.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back would be quieter

The hotel is located on the busy main road in Plan-les-Ouates. There is a bus and tram service nearby if you are heading into town. The hotel is newly refurbished and clean. In relation to its name the hotel is decorated with watchmakers’ utensils in showcases throughout the hotel. The receptionist on arrival was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Our rooms were on the third floor under the roof with the disadvantage of slanted ceilings which in this case are especially inconvenient because the room is already very small. One had to bend over double to reach the night table on the far end of the bed and I did not even try to sit in the armchair provided. There was no wardrobe but simply a curtained off area to hide the clothes hangers and a small safe. There are only 9 TV programmes in the room. The breakfast room is in the basement and has a low ceiling. Despite the windows with mock daylight the room feels oppressing and it is definitely overstuffed as tables and chairs are too close for comfort. Breakfast service was done by a young Asian girl who did not know what soft boiled eggs were. She offered to heat up the hard boiled eggs in the microwave instead. It appears that their kitchen lacks the facility to boil or let alone fry eggs. Considering the above I would say that the value for money is not too well balanced. The rooms we had were OK for one night but would not do for a longer stay.

Room Tip: Definitely choose a room on the back on 1st or 2nd floor.

I stayed at this hotel last night on a business meeting in Plan les Ouates. Its a great little hotel - the lady on reception was exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful. The room I had was 1020 and it was very big and spacious. It was a little warm during the night because of the high temperatures and humidity however I had an uninterrupted nights sleep.
I would definitely recommend it and I will use it the next time I am at Plan les Ouates. (fab restaurant around the corner also.."La Place")
Its a boutique style hotel and provided a lovely surrounding in the middle of a 2 days business meeting.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 1020 and it was a great room - spacious and airy
