Having booked the hotel at the very last minute, I'd like to point out that it for is NOT a hotel for the beach - it is far away from the beaches (around 7km). It is situated inside a big commercial area in the outskirts of Montpellier. It's true, it has a pool - but who would use it with hundreds of cars around?!
Definitely not a 3-stars hotel, it is more a good stay for a rest over night. Our room was very tiny, bathroom the same.

This hotel is set in a regional commercial center, not an industrial estate. There is a shopping mall a few minutes walk to the left out of the main gates and a branch of the Carrefour hypermarket, a 15-20 minute walk to the right. You could buy everything you need to et up and furnish a home from all the stores arounf the hoptel. All the shops are closed on a Sunday, but open on Mondays at either 9.30am or 10.00am. There is a bus service into town that costs 1.40 euro and takes about 15 minutes. It also goes in the other direction to the local village. The terminus in Montpellier for the bus route is the Place d'Europe which is also where the coach of the airport picks up and drops off. The airport bus costs 1.50 euros in each direction. The hotel is near the airport and they came and picked me up in a free minibus, a few minutes after I phoned them from the arrivals hall late Saturday evening. I found the staff very welcoming and offered helpful answers to all the questions that I asked. At the moment there is a bit of disturbance and congestion on the main roads in the neighbourhood, as a new tram line is bing built. When it is finished, it will enable even easier journeys around the area. It will be known as Tramway 3, I found the rooms slightly larger then normal, when traveling in France and certainly bigger then many I have known in Paris for a similar standard hotel. The food was fine, but not exceptional. The cheapest pasta dish was 6.50 euros, pizzas started from 9.00 euros and there were fish and meat course too, from 15.00 euros. Drinks were 3.00 euros for a beer, or a coke. These prices are not untypical for France and cheaper then buying in an airport, or the center of a city. The only minor point against the hotel as other commentators have pointed out is that there can be a lot of noise from the locks on the doors of the rooms, as people leave early in the morning to ctach flights, or arrive late at night. I was woken up, but managed to simply role over and get back to sleep. Enjoyed breakfast outide by the pool.

We stayed at Eurotel to celebrate my Wifes Birthday. When we arrived at the airport we asked at the info desk where the Eurotel was and were told we had to wait for a shuttle bus from the hotel to pick us up............They arrived in around 5 minutes.....This was a great bonus for us! The hotel also gave us a courtesy shuttle back to the airport at the end of our stay.

The hotel itself is set in a retail park which may not seem great however there was a huge Auchan Hypermarket 100m away which was huge and struck us as better than the Asda's and Tesco's we have back home. There are roadworks but from what we could gleam they are there to extend the tram service from Montpellier so will add real value.

The room was large and had fantastic air con which was needed with the temperature. The bathroom was also spacious and well decorated with clean towels and toiletries.

The pool is small and maybe a bit weird as it is next to the restaurant diners but still, when the temperature is in the high 30's a pool is still a pool!

We used the buses to get to Carnon le plage and on some days got another bus from there to Palavas. The whole coast line seemed to be stunning and the hotel, whilst not being particularly close to the coast is still close enough to enjoy the stunning beaches in the region. The bus you need to get is the no28 from Auchan to Carnon. You will know where to get off as the bus empties at the beach. This proved to be a cheap method of transport!

Overall we will definately return to the Languedoc region and would not hesitate to use this hotel again although next time we may look for something a little nearer the coast.

We booked on the last minute to go to the south of France and as a result ended up in the last few rooms of this hotel. We were very disappointed with the location as it was in the middle of an industrial estate, and at the time we were there they seemed to be digging up all the roads in the area, which made finding the hotel very difficult, even with a sat nav. The staff were very polite and helpful and the rooms were clean, but a little dated although the bathrooms were spotless. The photos from the website were a bit misleading as the outdoor pool looked amazing, but in reality its location didn't really encourage you to use it. Despite the only other review, which didn't rate the food, we decided to eat at the hotel and were very happy with what we had. The service was good and all the staff were helpful with the menu, even going out of their way to make alcohol free cocktails for our daughters and offering a generous brandy at the end of the meal. The cost of the hotel was was not particularly cheap, and the breakfast was standard, though expensive at 9 euros each. Having said all this, if you are looking for a cheapish base to explore the south coast (as long as the roadworks have finished!) it's probably a reasonable choice. However, if you want to lounge by the pool, I'd look elsewhere.

This was an acceptable hotel but only just ! The room was quite basic although the en suite was bright and modern. Staff were helpful and the free navette (shuttle) to the airport was a real bonus. However the let down was the dinner in the restaurant. A first meal was overloaded in garlic and included no fresh produce. We had to send back our second meal of undercooked chicken. This hotel is only acceptable as a bed and breakfast.
