“Can't beat the value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

I spent just one night at Hotel Forum, and I was pretty happy. The location was tricky for me - you have to go around a couple steep and twisty paths. That's the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars. But the staff was super friendly and accomodating, the rooms were brilliant, and I wish I had had more time to stay. It was very relaxing.

Though technically it is not within Monte Carlo's territory, it is only two blocks away. It is also 2,3 blocks from the elevators that take you down to the Port Hercule and from there, 5 minutes or less to the Casino. This hotel was awesome, nice, clean, safe and with a very reasonable price. Breakfast was not delicious as compared to other hotels but it tasted very good and there was quite a variety in options. If I were to point a bad thing from the hotel, it would be the shower. It was too small and I'm a thin person (amazingly the bathroom was quite big haha).... Still, I would definitely go back!!! ALSO, staff was very friendly!!!

Very good location, very close to the station, just a short walk up a steep hill to the hotel. Service was great, rooms very nice, very clean.Bathroom was a good size which was great for hanging up our washing!,Although we didnt have a view,(it was not a problem) there was a great view from our bathroom window. Breakfast was great, fresh everything and plenty of choice. The rooftop was a bonus with a stunning view of the sea and boats coming and going. We stayed 3 nights and were very happy the whole time.

Room Tip: Our room was great, we were on the 4th floor, good lift access,( we used the stairs)

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Monaco, this will fit your needs. Not strictly in Monaco, just in France, the hotel is a 10 minute walk from the railway station.

Well placed for a visit to the Principality, centrally placed near the Jardins Exotique, 10 minutes from the Casino Square. Friendly staff, clean rooms well equipped [for the price] rooms, super roof terrace for guests. The restaurant serving Italian based fare, is reasonably priced and serves a good Buffet breakfast. The receptionist speaks excellent English.

Parking might be an issue [I arrived by train] so check this out beforehand.

Stayed here on a rushed road trip through europe. didn't have the handiest parking - they direct you to a parking complex nearby - i'd recommend dropping off your bags at the hotel and then parking your car, otherwise you'd be dragging it up hill.
The hotel is just across the board into france, and is an easy walk to the casino, etc.

the room was small, with barely enough room for the suitcases on the floor, especially given the price of the place. BUT, that roof top! MAN!

I had only 1 night here, and right before checking out early at 7am my friend and i decided to quickly check it out. and oh. my. god! it was a magic moment. the sun rises over the ocean and it is nothing short of magic hour!
definitely made the stay worth it. it was one of the best views of my entire trip. just check out when sunrise is on your stay

Although its technically not in Monaco, this hotel is so close it suited us fine. Once you get the hang of the street layout it's super easy to find. Monaco uses its train station (Gare) as an access. The hotel is about 300m from the Beausoleil station entrance/exit, then you use the station escalators and lifts to take you down the cliffs into Monte Carlo. Once you get your head around it, it's great.
The hotel was clean, although our room smelt strongly of cigarettes. Large room (although just a standard), great range of toiletries provided. Breakfast was a decent enough variety, although it's only continental and you have to pay for real coffee. The hotel's roof has a terrace with great views- would be amazing in summer too!

Stayed here while working at the exhibition hall. Not the best hotel ever and the pictures on booking.com do flatter a bit. This is a oldish hotel that has recently had a once over in a modern style. hotel fixtures such as air con are old but apart from the air con everything was clean and functioned.
Breakfast was ok, continental with the ability to boil your own egg. Service was hit and miss such as getting down early for breakfast at 7am As we had to get to work but dispute everything being layed out and ready we were not allowed to start, even a cup of coffee was refused. Not the end of the world but hey ho.
Location is ok but it is up a steep hill above Monaco. Take time to figure out surroundings as there is a discrete lift nearby that will take you level with the marina and a bit of map work and a chat with reception will save aching legs.
The 115 bus from nice airport stops at the train station and is cheap and fast.
Overall average hotel with nice views from roof terrace. Stay hear if the price is good otherwise the Novotel is probably a better choice.
Oh and international tv is not unless you speak french, italian or German.
