We fancied a decent crab sandwich and ended up in this fine little café across the road from the estuary.
We settled into comfy sofas by the window and ordered crab sandwiches and a bowl of chips at the counter.
There was a chatty buzz to the place and plenty of people popped in for a chat and something to eat. The walls and shelving had interested paintings and knick-knacks.
The crab sandwiches arrived in a few minutes and lived up to their reputation – absolutely delicious and served with a salad with honey and mustard dressing. The chips were a worthwhile accompaniment. We’ll be back when passing that way again.
