If you are wanting to raise monies for a charity event I would highly recommend you book your event with Xtreme Karting Edinburgh. We ran a Charity Karting Event in March 2012 to raise monies for CHAS and secured 88 drivers, and had a reserved list of over 50 people. A mixture of corporate and private individuals took part and thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I know a lot of these people have subsequently gone back to Xtreme Karting and used the facilities for private events.

The staff at Xtreme Karting are a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and professional, I would highly recommend Xtreme Karting to anyone who was looking for a venue to run a corporate or private event.

We are again this year running a much larger Charity Karting Event that will cater 216 drivers, we know this event will be a success based on the tremendous feedback we received from participants who raced last year.

Great day out with friends and very reasonably priced. A must do.... the bridge Inn at ratho is close by for a spot of dinner after

11 of us visited on a Saturday afternoon as part of stag party for a grand prix afternoon. I have never been Karting before and was quite nervous but the staff de briefed us verbally and with DVD. There were two other groups there and we all raced against each other over 20 races of five laps each with the top 8 in the final. Each person gets 5 races in all. You get overalls, safety mask and helmet. Sadly some of the other group did spoil a few races by barging people but the staff, who were brilliant, standed no nonsense and dealt with it. one bloke was kicked out of the final and stomped around like a petulant child. It's only a bit of fun. Cost is £40 and top 3 in final each get a trophy and they provide constant updates on your ranking.
The site is near the airport and about 20 mins outside the city centre.
In short, this is a great place for a few hours fun in a highly professional environment.

Visited Xtreme Combat on Friday 25th Jan with 8 dads and 8 kids and had a famtastic time, the games were great, the equipment was brillant and the setup excellent, Chris was fantastic with the group as were the events team who organised it, will definately be back as these are excellent adrenaline rushed games, full of excitement but with no pain, Would definately recommend this as an activity.
