I really cannot find any reason why anyone would want to stay at this hotel... It's a nice hotel and the rooms are fully equipped, but that's saying it all.
No nice views, no (night)life or any sites in the neighbourhood, no bar or restaurant, nothing...
Opicina is located about 20' drive from beautiful Trieste, but is becomes a hassle if you have to do it 4 times a day. Admittedly, the drive down the hill is astonishing but not worth to choose this hotel.
Trieste has beautifully located hotels (also a few run down locations as well - be careful when you book), pick one of those, you won't regret it.
