We stayed here for one night the day before we visited the Belgian Grand Prix, about an hour's drive away. It is a beautiful hotel, set in pretty grounds with nice view front and back. We had a large bedroom with sofa and table, in the centre of the building. The public areas are beautifully furnished with plenty of areas for seating. Staff very polite. Had a very nice breakfast which was worth the 16 euros. We did not have dinner at the hotel's restaurant, but we did have a very pleasant glass of wine on the terrace in the afternoon sun. We ate at a very busy Italian restaurant about three minutes walk from the hotel. The only gripes are the time-limited wifi and meagre toiletries.

We stayed one night in this hotel in one of the castle rooms. It is set in lovely grounds front and back and the town, with quite a few restaurants, is only a few minutes walk away. The rooms had a luxurious feel and lovely large windows. The bathroom was large with separate shower. We would have liked more toiletries, for example there was only one small soap, to be shuffled from sink to shower to bath. Wifi was free for one hour per day. The buffet breakfast was in a nice room overlooking the terrace, costing EUR 16.50 per person and had all the juices, cereals, meat and cheese plus hot items. There was also a chef station, to cook omelettes and waffles. The hotel is situated near "Les Trois Frontieres" where Germany, Holland and Belgium meet.

Stayed for 2 nights for this years Belgian Grand Prix - Spa is about 35 miles away & this location was a great choice.Rm 402 had a hallway area, Very large superking sized bedroom with everything you would expect, massive shared balcony & large bathroom with separate bath & shower, the water pressure was invigorating, although the temperature control was very sensitive!. We ate at the pizza restaurant at the end of the hotels' road a 3 minute walk, good selection of pizza & pasta. Also ate at the Auberge Napoleon about a 10 min walk - really excellent food & very friendly owner, who recommended a decent bottle of wine. Breakfast in hotel was great too at 16.50 euro pp.

This building has been a hotel for 20 years and the new owners have added on wings for bedrooms etc. The original building was a convent and finishing school run by Catholic nuns from the Sacred Heart order. There are still traces to be found of its previous existence, including a Sacred Heart statue in an alcove in a basement room that now serves as a bar. One of the past pupils here was Rose Kennedy. The gardens are also worth visiting, as is the nearby hill where the three countries meet: Netherlands, Belgium and Germany (Aachen is a short distance away). Only stopped here for afternoon tea but the menu looked excellent and the receptionists and staff were very friendly.
