“A true Oasis in the Desert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

We had an excellent time, if you are looking at a place to charge your batteries in a natural but very comfortable surroundings with down to earth but attentive service all at a price that does not melt your credit card this is it! We loved the place, we went horse riding in the desert, jogging, just sitting around or swimming and at night we never once turned on the TV as we were mesmerized by the stars.

We have spent about 10 days there, firstly to celebrate our wedding there with friends from around the world, then to spend our honeymoon. It was simply beyond our wildest expectations...the place and surroundings makes you fusion with nature. Quality of food and service is top notch, and Souheil the general manager is simply fantastic. Friends present with us there from Brazil, Malaysia, France, USA and else will come back for sure. As for us, we will definitely come back often to this oasis of peace and love.

Stumbled across the hotel by chance and what a find! Me and a friend were looking for somewhere to completely unwind and we weren't disappointed - it provided the perfect chill out and superseded our expectations by miles. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, lots of open space and a stunning swimming pool. The whole vibe is one of calm and serenity. Our Junior suite was ideal - really comfortable with a great energy and amazing views. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - unlike anything I've experienced before. Food is great - found the breakfast menu a bit limited but that really is the only point for improvement. The hotel is a 20-30 minute taxi ride from the heart of Marrakech so it's easily accessible - meaning you can still experience the hub bub of city life and the excellent shopping at the Souk. Easier to get organise taxi to and from the hotel directly through the hotel and i would imagine a unfamiliar cabbie may struggle with the off road track. The retreat-like-feel of the hotel is supported by the excellent spa treatments - I recommend the traditional Hamman and the facials! I took books to read and for evening entertainment a laptop and movies to connect to the flatscreen TV (you'll need the connector cable). Overall the perfect hotel for the perfect relaxing holiday. We'll definitely be returning next year.

Wonderful place, calm tranquil and serine. Staff were excellent but I recommend a French phrase book, their English is limited.

Highlights
Luxurious Gay friendly hotel in Morocco
Horse riding and picnic
Traditional Hamman in the spa
Take a dip in the pool
Walk around the farm
Pick a meal from the cook books and have the chef create for you!

Would definitely come back, but perhaps for a few less days next time. Its a wonderful place, but it was just a tad too quiet for us.

We arrived at the start of January, to a very peaceful and beautiful hotel set in stunning surroundings. We had breakfast and lunch each day looking onto snow capped mountains and lush olive groves. The food is delicious, the staff very welcoming and accommodating - we really were made to feel at home. Each day the staff set up a beautiful log fire in our suite. It was my first time in Morocco and it made a great impression on me.

My wife and I traveled there with our one-year old for three nights. This hotel is literally like an oasis - all green and lush in the midst of the Moroccan desert. The place is very quiet and peaceful.

The staff at the hotel appeared professional and friendly (especially to our little one), and dealt well with all the inquiries we made. The hotel provided a car (for EUR30 one way from Marrakech and it cost the same to drive us to the Marrakech Airport). To put things in perspective - hired taxis charge EUR30 for this distance from Marrakech, but quote EUR50 for a drive to this hotel because about 5km of the road are not asphalted with a lot of potholes and dust.

The hotel has a restaurant and a bar, and you're welcome to have your meal anywhere you like. The nearest other restaurant is nowhere near of walking distance. We found that the menu was somewhat pricey compared to many of Marrakech's Medina eating places (main meals in the hotel ranged between DH140 and 160) and had a limited choice (three main meals for lunch and three for dinner), but very well cooked and served.

The room (junior suite) was large with a massive bed, TV, two air-conditioners, and a fire place. It also has a sitting area and big sitting cushions in the main room. The hot and cold water worked well, although we had to be shown how to operate the shower (slightly complicated). We were offered a fire lit in our room every evening - which was very nice.

One minor downside was that the floors were cold as the room was only partly covered by a carpet. There was also a minimum furniture in our room - this is not a big deal, but it did appear minimalist as a result.
