“Good for an overnight stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014 via mobile

Stayed her for one night on a trip through France, room was lovely with gorgeous views over fields, bathroom facilities were rather odd as once you had showered you had to come into the bedroom area to dry yourself which for a married couple like us wasn't really a problem but if you were friends sharing this could cause an issue thankfully the loo did have a door!! No restuarant or bar but plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance.

Everything there felt very cheap. The room was clean, so I'll give it that, but the internet was so horrible that I couldn't even check my email without disconnecting multiple times. The service there was limited, it was hard to find someone around when you needed them. It was inexpensive, so you get what you pay for.

Room Tip: The hotel is out of the way of everything, so I think any room would be a quiet room.

We stayed one night on our way to Disneyland Paris. It fulfilled our needs and expectations and we can recommend it, with some caveats.
You have to keep in mind this is a business oriented hotel in a retail park area, which means no frills inside and a few venues at walking distance - all of them pretty much in the middle of the French countryside. Which is fine if you don't expect to be in a town neighborhood. On the bright side there are a cinema theater and some good diners at walking distance (literally few hundred meters) where you can have a good selection and variety of meals (brasserie, boucherie, pizza) at decent prices, which is good as the hotel doesn't have a restaurant.
The room was clean and tidy, albeit small and a tad impersonal; this can somewhat be expected from Ibis as all of their décor is the same, which is at the same time consistent and not very exciting. Be informed that a queen size (or double) bed here is following French standards, so expect a tiny 140cm frame; it is however pretty comfortable. Our room had no safe and this is was disappointing for a business class hotel; we have to report no minibar was available either. Also, no water boiler / coffee (another miss for a modern structure) although coffee and tea is available 24/7 for free by a self service machine on the ground floor. Only a thick curtain was available so it is either no light, or full monty to the adjacent cinema parking lot. There is a distinct lack of power outlets, with only three being available across the entire room and their position is not very helpful either (think floor level or by the bathroom mirror, so you'll have to charge your phone on the carpet or on the sink).
Breakfast buffet is decent without being special, and hot beverages are provided by an automatic self service machine.
Wi-Fi is free to all guests but the available bandwidth is VERY poor, not enough even to watch YouTube videos. Email checking is possible but don't expect fast internet browsing. This was very disappointing and has been confirmed by several other reviews, so don't rely too much on it.
On a pleasant note the staff was friendly and welcoming.
Overall a decent value for money with some lowlights.

Room Tip: Rooms on first and second floor are better than ground floor.

The rooms were small but nice and the breakfast was adequate. The hotel is several km from downtown Compiegne and there are limited dining choices within walking distance. The Pizza Pai restaurant was the best and their wi-fi actually worked! The hotel's wi-fi was very spotty and could not be used 90% of the time making business needs almost impossible to meet. Management stated the high occupancy led to poorer wi-fi service. Do not recommend if you need internet during your stay. Otherwise, accomodations were satisfactory.

We chose this place as a center of a star-touring of the area, based on the reviews. After staying for two nights (instead of three originally planned) we decided to leave. The place is nice, clean and faceless. It is built for business travel, not for vacation.

The breakfast is very good, the stuff helpful, the location is near the highways and commercial center, but quite far from the cozy center of Compiegne.

And BTW, don't try to look for it in POI database of navigator software. There it is still "All Seasons".

In short -- functional, but no more than that.
