We gladly recommend La Cour Lalouette in Chamant France. We stayed there with two family's; my own's and my sister's as well as our mother with a total of 5 adults and four children aged 2, 4, 6 and 8.
The welcome was warm and courteous. The apartments and facilities were clean, comfortable and complete and attention is provided to detail by the owners; from the fresh flowers in the apartments to the authentic feel of the furnishings. With the evenings sometimes chilly in early May, the firewood provided not only provides a welcome distraction for the kids but also comfortable warmth and charm. La Cour Lalouette also provides an enclosed courtyard which allows children to roam while parents have both peace of mind and rest. A garage is provided for the cars as well as remote keys to service the gate to the courtyard.
As is stated on their website, La Cour Lalouette is at a short distance from family parks such as La Mer de Sable (20 minutes!), Parc Asterix and Disney Land Paris as well as Paris itself. This makes it an ideal base to operate from. While Chamant itself does not offer material facilities, you'll find all you require in Senlis at a stone's throw away.
Do note that the kitchens are equipped with induction furnaces which may require getting some used to. Also, bring a stash of Nespresso with you should you wish to enjoy a good cup of coffee in the mornings.
