We have stayed in similar budget hotels in france many times before and therefore didn't expect to find a clean , well equipped and quiet room . We got a warm welcome from reception and found the room was perfect for a short stay but maybe a bit cramped for a longer stay . unusually we had tea and coffee in the room with all the expected stuff you find in a budget hotel . The only downside was the distance from the town centre , a 40 min walk or a short drive .

I have never stayed at a Kyriad before but have stayed at all the other French chain hotels so thoguht I knew what to expect. When we arrived the hotel looked relatively new but we were surprised at how small the room was. We had a twin room but it might as well have been a double because the room was so small that there was virtually no space between the beds. Having said that the beds were very comfy! We had the best sleep here.

The room did have a lot of extras like tea & coffee making facilities, toiletries, tissues, a room safe and extra pillows in the room. The problems we found was the room was so small that you couldn't use the chair they provided because there was not enough space beside the bed. There was a lovely heated towel rail but again because of the lack of space it was put behind the toilet & too high for me to access.

There is a restaurant in the hotel but they didn't seem to be very busy although that could be because it was October and not peak season.

The hotel is just a few minutes drive to the main centre of the town and very easy to find. I would stay here again because it was clean, convenient & cheap. I paid approx. £45 booked through Hotels.com

We stayed one night in late September on our way back from Provence. Our room was on the ground floor and we were able to park right outside as the hotel was not very busy. The room was very clean, nicely furnished and well equipped with hairdryer, flat screen TV (no English channels though) and unusually for France, tea & coffee making facilities. The room was on the small side but all furniture & equipment seemed designed for the room and no space was wasted.
There is a railway that runs about about 500 metres away but we were not disturbed even though we had the windows open all night so we felt the room was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay.
It was a very warm night and difficult to get any cool air into the room so an electric fan would have been appreciated.
We had a look at the menu which seemed a bit expensive and as there seemed to be few people staying in the hotel (we felt it may lack some ambience) and decided to eat in town. It's an easy drive into Etaples and there is plenty of parking on the riverside and a selection of good restaurants.we usually eat at the fish restaurant Au Pecheur D'Etaples but this time opted for the less expensive Planete Ocean which was very good.
Breakfast was the usual selection of continental breads, cheeses, meats, fruit etc and was adequate.
Overall at 90 Euros for bed and breakfast it's not exactly cheap but it was a good experience - unfortunately, the days of £40 rooms have long gone.

We stayed here for 1 night en route to SW France. This is a very comfortable hotel and perfect for an overnight stay. The bedroom was situated on the ground floor & although very small, it was perfectly adequate for our needs. There is an ensuite clean bathroom with a moderate sized shower cubicle.

One delight was the tea & coffee making facilities, something that is rarely found in many French hotels. There was a small LCD/ plasma TV fixed on the wall & at check in we were provided with a remote control for our TV which was requested to be returned on checking out; I can only presume that there have been many of these that have gone missing previously.

The reception area, bar and restaurant are all on the upper level. We booked a table in the restaurant and were delighted to see both a set menu & an a la carte with very good selections of food. We were very pleasantly surprised by our meal, which was of a very good standard and reasonably priced for the quality of food that we ate. It certainly seemed a popular place for people to eat and the waitress/ receptionist was kept very busy that night. The same lady was very pleasant & friendly- she also became the bar waitress at the end of the meal serving drinks in the lounge area thereafter.

This hotel provided an ample sized car park which appeared private & perfectly safe to leave vehicles overnight. There is a railway line nearby, but I was not aware of frequent trains passing by & it certainly did not disturb our sleep.

I would class this as a perfect hotel for an overnight stay, but any stays longer than 1 night, I believe that guests may find the rooms a little too compact.

Only spent one night here, but was very satisfied. Our room while small was adequte, although not much space to store a suitcase. Bathroom with shower was good and clean, with supplied toiletries. Easy access to room on ground floor from car park at rear. Reception is on first floor with level access from front car park so fully accessible for the disabled, but you may need to move car after checking in to get the right level.

Restaurant had good speedy service, although menu was not very long. Good breakfast buffet. Hotel is some way out of Etaples, but quiet. Supermarket and petrol station about 200 yards away towards town. Certainly happy to stay again with value for money.

Other than the small rooms (very small) a great place to stay with friendly staff, adequate restaurant and perfectly placed for the final push to Calais and home.
