“Great service, good food, made welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

We have been to the sister restaurant many times, Kudu Bar about a mile away, and this time decided to try El Soto for Snday lunch. We were a group of eight golfers over for the week at La Cala and were delighted with our choice for Sunday dinner. A lovely log fire was roaring when we arrived, needed in the Feb evenings with sofas arround, just the place for a few beers before dinner and at 2.50 euros a pint could not get better value. The dinner was first class, good choice and pleanty of veg and potatoes. We will definatly go back again when in Spain in the summer.

“Marvellous food, great service, fantastic price, amazing views!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Having been introduced to this club where we sampled the excellent salad for the first time over a late lunch on Friday, we were happy to repeat the experience on Saturday. Our 'impressedness' was only compounded by the quality of the roast lunch on Sunday - al dente vegetables and piping hot, crisp roasties only added to our delight! We are looking to buy an apartment in nearby El Vicario but have already agreed that, whether the purchase proceeds or not, we'll definitely be back to eat at the clubhouse again!

“Excellent service and value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

Menu del dia is 10 euro including drink, however I went for the caesar salad which was wonderful, followed by the honeycomb cheesecake. Staff very friendly and good quality food. We had walked from Calahonda over the hills to get here, had a lovely relaxing lunch before our walk back. Will definately visit again.

“family sunday lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

Yet again a lovely Sunday afternoon, really good food, nice wine, excellent service and now a lovely log fire to sit around.

Something for everyone, good choices on the menu, an area to watch the football without overpowering conversation, this restaurant/club house is so comfortable and friendly well worth a visit.

“Relaxing place and good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

It was our second stay at El Soto and we were really happy with the new look of the club house and the menu. Very friendly service and they were also helpful and understanding with our 4 years old fussy eater boy. The view from the terrace is beautiful during the day and also night. We joined the Hot Stone Night twice and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to try the breakfast but the menu looked quite nice. We ate several times at El Soto (lunch and dinner) and enjoyed our food very much at each ocassion. Would definitely recommend it.
