“Nice area ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 weeks ago

Really great place, the area really makes it perfect.. The scenery is to die for, would defo recommend a trip to st Raphael for great shops, markets and restaurants. The apartments are fitted with everything you will need. Only down side is the on site restaurants aren't that great but the ice cream parlour is ! The pools are great, lots of space to relax. Bring plenty of money though for a great stay !

Nice holiday village, self contained. good rooms, good facilities and love the Reebok morning fitness program. the choice of eateries is amazing. and the little train ride to the beach is very popular among the kids. note that in September, the activities for kids are reduced.

We have booked one week in a VIP Apartment off-season in October 2014. We arrived 1 day earlier and wanted to stay for as many days as booked. Even it has been off-season and not many apartments were occupied, the manager wanted us to pay an extra day. He was very unfriendly and inflexible for no reason. VIP apartments aren't VIP at all, more likely students accomodation. Rooms are incredibly small and weared off but seaview is great.

I stayed there with my family in September. 3 of us in the hotel and one in an apartment. When we checked out, I paid everything that was presented to me.

They have written to me stating I stayed there in April - rubbish, that I owe them money - rubbish, that they wrote to me in May about this - rubbish since I hadn't stayed there yet. Now they're threatening me with legal action in France over a stay I did not have.

I've had to run up a big phone bill to sort it out. These people are idiots. Stay away. There's lots of nice places to stay in France.

I will now sue them through the county courts in the UK for the money I've wasted on their mistake. 2 can play at that game!

We stayed at Cap Esterel for a week in October for our 15-year-old son's half term. The setting is lovely with views of the sea and the rugged landscape. Lovely in quiet season might be too full in August.

If you want to be shouted at by the rudest hotel personell of the world (my French colleague even told that she should emigrate if she doesn't like the treatment, in France, this is the right of hotel receptionists) after they made a mistake, to be place in small rooms where you even have to put the bed linen on yourself and where they offer a total of 1 pillow for the whole apartment, this is your best choice. I have been to at least 200 different hotels in the world, but never met such people in any of them. Even the doorman was real rude.

The P&V in Agay can indeed be called a "village", it is a large complex. It was convenient located next to the beach and walking distance from the little village of Agay. Small supermarkets close-by, bigger supermarkets you need a car (10 minutes). However, there are some comments that can be made. As it was off-season and the complex was for 50 empty, it had a bit of a "sad" look. Maintenance on the buildings could be better and would have made the complex a bit better looking. We had a apartment at the end of the complex and that was a long-long way from the swimming pool and little shops. It took us about 10 minutes to get to the shop. The apartment had a nice view over the golf-course. It was a sea view apartment and we had sea-view, although it was a little bit of sea-view. The apartment was (very) small and was very basic. It had no airconditioning and the beds were back-breaking hard.

The staff at the reception did not speak English very well (or not at all), were OK in friendliness.

For the rest, it seemed to us that we had to pay for everything. We needed to pay for the parking of the car, some of the beds at the pool (for which we were lucky that it was off-season, otherwise we ended up lying on the floor or small parts of grass), internet (which was relatively cheap compared to the other things), etc. That disappointed us a bit as we paid enough money upfront (and did not know about the possible extra's that we needed to pay).

I would not recommend staying here, certainly not in high-season.
