“Good place on the long journey South”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

The Hotel had been recommended to us and I would recommend it to you. It's just off the motorway and very easy to find. The rooms are a wee bit dated and very basic but they are clean, comfy and everything works. But the real highlight is the adjoining Restaurant. We had an excellent meal, the service was attentive and it was reasonably priced. Plenty of off-street parking which was a good thing as our car was loaded to the roof with stuff!

Cheap, clean, parking, good restaurant next door, pleasant staff, all you need for a stopover. Good centre for exploring the area and Troyes, but nothing worth mention in the immediate neighbourhood - other than some of the many outlet stores, if you are going for the shopping!

The hotel lies due south of Troyes, set back from a main road with a wood behind it. Its restaurant is a separate building with separate billing. The hotel rooms we had were comfortable, quiet & well appointed, so we had no complaints to make to the management—why do so many hotel guests complain to anyone except the hotel manager? We had very good food in the restaurant accompanied by a splendid wine. Our departure next morning after an enjoyable breakfast was contented & satisified.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while touring in France. Reception and service were good. Location is good for ease of access and driving into Troyes centre - you really do need to use your car though. Rooms a bit "tired". Shower was pathetic and toilet seat broken. Comfortable enough and would stay there again. Restaurant next door (now under separate ownership) is good and popular with the locals. Dia supermarket about 500 meters away is handy. Also handy for the designer outlet (about 1 mile away). Troyes is a wonderful town to visit - both the Musee de Loup and the Musee d'Art Moderne are certainly worth a visit.

Characteristic enough, in an ancient farm, but modern inside. Room a bit small, not many places to hang stuff (especially in the bathroom). Reasonable breakfast for a 2 starts hotel. We didn't try the restaurant (in the building nearby). Definitely need the car, about 10 minutes from Troyes centre, a couple of minutes from the outlet malls. Nothing interesting at walk distance. Perfect for an overnight stay, and for a quick visit to Troyes (worth it!).

Room Tip: I'd have preferred a room first floor, rather then ground floor, but it was ok as well.

I have stayed in this hotel many times in the past but have not been for a few years , but since I last visited they have built a annex to the rear of the original hotel . The rooms here are very welcoming and clean with the added bonus of being able to park my motorbike right outside .

The restaurant on the same site offers a large menu of good and not overpriced food and as the locals seem to come here as well as hotel guests it must be well regarded ! Staff were excellent and helpful and at the price you can't beat this hotel if you are in this area .

This hotel is just of the autoroute just south of Troyes and is very conveniently located if you have satelite navigation. Our TomTom took us right to the door with no problems. The rooms are small, but functional. The bathroom was also small, but everything worked. The reading lights above the bed were excellent which was a pleasnat surprise as most hotels seem to have very low wattage bulbs in such lights. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. The front rooms are probably also quite quiet as the hotel is 100 metres off the main road. The restaurant is in a separate building and is under different management. It was excellent. It was an ideal overnight stop on our journey to the south of France.
