Very friendly with good food - inside or out. Whatever you do make sure you have a good appetite when you go - or share between two of you!

“Big Portions”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013 via mobile

If hungry for quantity, but not quality, a good place to go. The price/food ratio is possibly the best in Duras. Family members who live in the area agree in that matter. My personal experience was mixed. I requested prawns on the menu but was told they were out, and this was early in the evening. Other restaurants nearby were serving it at that time. Fair enough. A cup of cider? nope. Cant open a bottle just for you (the waitress was the one who offered it initially) then served the wrong quantity of escargots...(asked for 12, got 6)
So you get the feeling.
The food otherwise tasted good, albeit poorly presented. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Nice to be able to sit outside.

“Great food and very good service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

We visited Duras in order to attend the Night market. The town was packed and there was a real party spirit. We had pre booked the restaurant, which was absolutely packed. The terrace was covered in tables and as one was vacated another group was seated. I give this background as this is not the ideal night to judge a restaurant.
In these circumstances, we had good service from an attentive waitress. She had time to speak and allowed our son to practice his French when ordering his drinks and food. The Pizza’s were of a very good quality and huge in size. My wife had a salad which was very special and again the portion was a good size. We all had deserts and the quality and choice was very good.
I would recommend this restaurant for a family meal as it offers a wide choice, catering for many tastes.

“Consistent great value, good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2012

Been to this restaurant regularly for the last few years.... and have been pleased on every occasion... the portions are huge (which is good with kids) and good value. We've taken guests there (from UK and Australia) and it ticks the boxes for all...
Not the best restaurant in the world but really really good value and a pleasant experience every time

“The kids loved it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012 via mobile

Whilst not fancy or exquisite this restaurant had really good food. My meal was delicious and my eldest son wanted to go back ( which we did) for the enormous lasagna which would be too big for me but perfect for a teenage boy. Pleasant Italian food without being too fancy
