We were walking down the street ready to go to our usual restaurant in our little town, but the restaurant was closed for 2 weeks. So we ventured across the road to Seegarten. When you look at the restaurant, it doesn't look like much. When you get inside, the place looks like an old ship in need of renovation. There are ship's trinkets everywhere inside. Because of this our expectations weren't very high.
We ordered a US rib eye pan to share, grilled mixed vegetables and a salad. It was perfect! I have never had such a good rib eye in my life. I wanted to lick the pan. We also found a wonderful bottle of Thelema Merlot from my home country. Another pleasant surprise.
Service is suitably relaxed, but attentive enough.
It was so good we went 3 times in the last week! Finger-licking good!
