Excellent Beach front hotel with pool and Outside Bar. We were here for our 55th Class reunion. We had a great time and loved the view and options. We would use this Hotel again. The food was good and the help was very friendly.

After spending three days in Islamorada with the rain this was a great break to arrive at the Hilton Singer Island.

We were assisted by Justin the valet bellman, which he was very helpful. Gave me information about the area and asked us what we were in town for. Pleasant smile.

The hotel is a very pretty hotel, very nice curvy lobby area, that leads, straight out to a wooden deck area that would take you straight to the beach. Very nice

Marilyn, helped with check-in and was extremely pleasant and nice and the lobby is very modern.

We had a room on the fifth floor with a partial view of the ocean and a partial view of the inlet river.

We were only in town for the evening, so we decided to go out for dinner at Buddy's Café. Cool bar to go to with the locals. Some of the local clientele has tattoos. Great band was playing when we were there. But it's the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers that were the ticket. And good.

We returned to the Hilton and decided to have drinks in the lobby. Justin was behind the bar, not the same Justin that works in valet. And he was very friendly and funny.

I most certainly will return to the Hilton in Singer Island. It's a very, very nice property and it is right on the water. I even was able to see turtle tracks from the turtles that are laying their eggs. You're not supposed to disturb them, but it's okay to look. Great, great location.

The Singer Island Hilton is a moderate-sized modern hotel - great bar/pool/beach and accommodating staff. The location is convenient to upscale shopping to the north or south. I would stay there again on a return to the area.

We stayed here for a few days. The hotel was nice with a great pool and beach. The beach was very private and water was crystal clear and very warm. The area was not very touristy and seemed pretty private with condos located nearby and not many hotels. Nice view of the beach from the balcony. The fruit flavored water in the lobby was a nice touch. We would definitely return.

The property is immaculate. The rooms are modern and fresh. The morning breakfast buffet was good and fresh. But, the best part was the staff! From the lobby to the pool, everyone was on point! The people and the services they provided were refreshing! Good job!

Room Tip: Stay on the Oceanside for the best view!

We truly believe our entire staff takes on the responsibility of servicing every guest need and that is what separates us from other hotels. Thank you for noting what we strive to accomplish which is individual service to every guest. We look forward to welcoming back to the hotel very soon.

Everything with this Hilton Hotel was excellent with the exception of the inconsiderate adjoining room guests yelling & scolding their kids and making all kind of noise at 2 am in the morning like they were the only ones in the hotel.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

NOTE: We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Many of the problems we experienced were due to the large number of guests who did not leave the resort when they checked out, the large number of guests arriving before check in time, and the weddings that the hotel hosted.

Location
This hotel is truly in a wonderful location. Less than a mile from Blue Heron Bridge, it makes a great spot for divers to stay. The beach is beautiful and there's even some totally decent snorkeling out front once you swim out past the swimmers and the breakers (there appears to be an old wreck and a dead reef... I saw many of the typical fish you'd see in a reef around Palm Beach including sgt majors, parrot fish, and barracuda). Even the beach chair rentals were reasonable ($5/hr or $15 for the day for a chair and umbrella) and came with cabana service...which was slow but whatever, you're on the beach!

Service and Staff
The hotel staff was friendly, but not at our arrival. I don't want to go into details but we distinctly felt that we were a bit of a nuisance. As I said before, the ocean side cabana service was rather slow...but that's to be expected. What was more surprising is that the server was not familiar with the beers on tap. We ordered a pretty popular microbrew beer that they had on tap and the waiter looked distinctly confused with the order and questioned it. He did, however, bring out the right beer, also...he was taking orders on the beach, which is not exactly a quite place with the sounds of kids playing and the waves breaking...so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Housekeeping/Maintenance
The rooms were clean but... On our second day, we left the room by 830. When we returned at 230, housekeeping still had not yet arrived. When we called, they sent someone up so that by the time we came in from the beach (530), the room had been made but..... they took our towels but did not replace them. They left us with ONE towel and they did not refresh the toiletries. When we called about this, however, they were quick to rectify the situation. They also did not change the sheets on one of the beds, even though there was a stain on the white duvet cover. Later in the evening, a friend came to our room and tripped on a chair broke a glass. Another call to housekeeping/maintenance and someone came to our room with a vacuum. He was incredibly thorough and friendly.

and now, the bad...

Parking
When we arrived on Saturday around 130PM, the only parking was end of the row, illegal, parallel parking. Having grown up with a father who has a strong preference for "creative" parking, this was not a problem for me... Later in the evening (when the wedding ended), there was plenty of parking. We left and came back around 1:30 on Sunday and there was NO PARKING. My husband circled the lot for 45 minutes. NOTHING. One of the staff suggested that he park in the staff lot next door. Again, there was NOTHING. After that, my husband got lucky and followed a woman to her car. But he was not alone...there were many "land sharks" circling the parking lot that day. Despite the parking problems, we were charged $10/day. When we complained, they removed the charges without delay though (points for service!).

Room
Eh - it was OK. It was a nice sized room. Good water pressure in the shower. The sheets were soft. But my bed was a little hard. It felt like it was on the end of the Hilton bedding cycle. My friends, however, found their bed very comfortable. I had a difficult time sleeping...not because of the bed but because of random noises and light. We had to lay a towel along the door jam to keep out the light (there was A LOT) and every fifteen minutes or so I heard a sound like a frog. It went ribbit ribbit..... ribbit ribbit.... ribbit ribbit. 3 sets of ribbits, then gone for 15 minutes or so. My husband never heard it but I have really sensitive hearing and usually sleep with a white noise machine (which I forgot this time around).

For the weekend we were there, I'd give the hotel a rating of "average" but I'll probably return - just NOT on a holiday weekend!!!!!

Room Tip: ALL rooms have a view of the ocean and a balcony. For most, it's only a partial view and a very...
