“Loud Renovations Beware”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2011

It states on the web site that minor renovations are occurring. The reality is that they are doing VERY LOUD renovations. There was a jackhammer working on the facade of the room next to us. It was so loud that we could not stay in our room during the day. The parking gate is down because they are tearing up the road and to get in you have to traverse an unpaved area. But they still charge you the parking fee.

The beds are comfortable and after 5 the resort is nice and quiet. It is a very pretty resort and after renovations are complete I'm sure it would be a nice place to stay but for right now avoid like the plague.

Just stayed at the hotel this weekend, first off when we checked in the girl at the front desk told us there would be an hour wait for our room we decided to have a drink at the bar outside and wait when the female bartender gave us the biggest attitude ever for asking what drink she reccomended. She looked like she had been bartending there for way to long. Anyway after waiting for 90 minutes we went back to the front desk and saw the same girl to ask what was going on with our room, She looked at us with a blank stare that could only mean our room was not ready. After 20 minutes more we recieved our key, We arrived at our room to the wonderful smell of must...I wanted to scream at this point but decided to ruff it. We decided to go to the restaurant and have somthing to eat and start enjoying our vacation, first off theres nobody in the restaurant and thats not a goodt sign, after waiting 12 minutes our server came over as if he was doing us a favor, and says what can i get you.. we didnt even have menus yet. It had to be the worst service I have ever recieved anywhere and I travel 6 months out of the year.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP, THE ENTIRE STAFF IS A JOKE...THERE ARE OTHER PLACES YOU CAN STAY WHERE YOU FEEL WELCOME...

We stayed for a few nights at Hilton Singer Island before heading farther south. We absolutely loved this hotel. By booking and pre-paying online through the Hilton website I was able to get a really good deal for superb ocean front rooms. Although the rooms are a bit small compared to other Hiltons we have stayed at they were clean and decorated wonderfully. Of course the beds were fantastic.
The one thing that impressed the most about the hotel was the staff and the fabulous customer service. The front desk/guest services were always polite and professional but also friendly and personable. They made me feel very welcome and even helped me find an item that I was looking for by calling around to friends and co-workers. When I requested the name of a great coffee shop in Miami (in a completely different town) they didn't even blink. They found one and gave me the name AND address. NOW that is customer service. There was a slight hiccup with my stay - I had requested a small item (sand toys) prior to check-in to be delivered to the room. This was not done. I was not upset by it but brought it to the attention of the front desk. They not only were apologetic but sent out the night porter (Oscar who was so kind!) to get the item from the store and bring it back so that my daughter would have it for the beach the next day. Like I said, the staff was fabulous.
While we were there we ate at the restaurant several times. Barbi was a great server and wonderful with our family. The food selection wasn't the best but the staff was!
I'm not sure when we will be headed back down to Florida. However, if we go anywhere in that area this will be the only hotel that we stay with. I can't possibly imagine a better and more friendlier hotel anywhere.

We stayed at the Hilton Singer Island for a quick little weekend vacation. We arrived about an hour before check-in and were offered a room on the 3rd floor if we wanted or the check-in staff offered for us to go down to the beach or use the pool and wait for a room on the 4th floor which they said would provide a better view of the beach. We decided to wait for the 4th floor room and went down to check out the beach and the pool. The beach was beautiful-the water was crystal clear! The pool was also very nice and had a bar very close for refreshments. The hotel staff also will serve you down on the beach or poolside so that was very convenient. The room was well worth the wait with a great view as promised! This was a great place to vacation with our 2 year old. She had a blast playing on the beach and playing in the pool and the room was right there when it was nap time:-) We will definitely be back when we need a little getaway again!!

Great oceanfront resort hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast, with eggs and pancakes to order. Did not like being charged $8/day to self park in an outdoor parking lot with no visible security, but there are no other options available. Thankfully, there were no resort fees. Wait staff was very attentive, especially in the outdoor bar area.

Stayed in an "island view" standard room. We had a "pay as you take" refrigerator. Preferred to have a refrigerator for my own personal use. Appeared to be a pet free environment so I was a happy camper.

My partner and I stayed here for an extended Summer weekend. The room was gorgeous! The hotel was gorgeous! There was a balcony off of the room which faced the beach/ocean and the view was spectacular. Would definitely recommend to for couples for a romantic weekend !

Stayed at this property for 4 days the last week of July, 2011. Check in was fast and easy, got a free room upgrade for being a HHonors member. Room was comfortable with 2 balconies(1 you can stand on with a partial ocean view and a full balcony with chairs and a table with a beautiful view of the intercoastal waterway and bridge. Bed was awesome but the a/c system in the rooms is LOUD! This Hilton has a special running offering a free breakfast buffet with your stay and it was very good although a little variety from day to day on the items would have been nice. The hotel has a outside Tiki bar that is just steps away from the ocean which was hands down our favorite place at this property. Ed the bartender took great care of us and my wife loved his margaritas! Prices were reasonable at the bar and the restaurant. Pool was nice and not to crowded. Ocean access is easy but the hotel charges WAY too much to rent chairs and a umbrella($10hr or $35 per day).
If you are staying a few days and have a way to get around go to the Publix Market( about 4 miles south of the hotel, ask the front desk for directions) and pick up a couple of beach chairs for 8 to 10 bucks each. Beach was clean and there is a small reef for a little snorkeling. Considered the Marriot next door for this trip but for the money you can't beat the Hilton(plus no beach bar at the Marriot)!
