“Waiters with attitude”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

La Paloma used to be one of my favorite restaurant on the island. This year was a let down although the pasti and antipasti were as good as usual. The main courses were limited (1 fish, 1 chicken and one red meat) and not interesting.
When we sat down we were asked whether we wanted bread before getting our menu. We answered that we would rather have the menus before our bread. Then we were told off three times by three different waiters which explained to us that it was August and that they were very busy. If you are in the restaurant business you should know that August comes every year. We were granted permission to order after 45mns. Then everything went fine. I am not sure I want to drive 25mn to get to a restaurant to be told off by young waiters.

“What a pity”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

This could be the nicest place on Ibiza. Wonderful location, beautiful decor, pretty good food.
But don' t go there unless you like flocks of over-noisy and underbred kids. You want to have a quite, maybe even romantic dinner? Forget it.
It's a great place for kids (a playground us waiting fir them right next to the tables), so most parties bring some along - and the whole place ends up in a beautiful noisy, nervous Ronald-McDonald-a-la-carte-experience.
And fascinating to see, how badly educated most kids are. Sitting at the table? Yes, but only, if they are using their smartphones. Enjoying their food? No, too busy running around.
Nerve wrecking. Never again. And sorry about it - it could be so nice.

“really lovely restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

Wonderful position and a great atmosphere - lots of children running about but none of them behaving badly - excellent food - tho my fish was almost raw I did not say anything as my husband cant cope with complaining and I knew it was very fresh! Fantastic mozzarella. Excellent value for money.

“Best restaurant in Ibiza!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

I LOVE La Paloma. We have been there a number of times and go back every time we visit the island.

Great selection of fresh food, reasonably priced and well cooked. The atmosphere is buzzy, but not overwhelming. Beautiful garden with flowers and fairy lights and love the mix and match vintage crockery.

We had their secret recipe Aubergine Parmigiana to start, steak for our main course and chocolate fondant for desert.

The service is also excellent, friendly and attentive even when the restaurant is jam packed!

I would highly recommend this restaurant, the only downside for me are the cats, who are occasionally more attentive than the staff.
