Nice as always and the waiters and waitresses were as nice as always aside from one idiot who thinks he owns the place. Didn't like him, wish I would have remembered his name as would have told you to give him a hard time for me! LOL. He's been there the past four years and not changed.
The small "head waiter" chap is a delight and I only wish he would lighten up and smile as it would make guests feel relaxed. He is superb at his job and works ever so hard too, thanks to him.
Everyone takes the time and care to ensure you have a good experience. Thank you to Alex on reception who ensured we had "our room". All the chefs are attentive too in the restaurant.
Sun beds for all and the grounds are kept in pristine condition as is the pool. It can get a little cramped so be warmed if you like a lot of space to move.
Rooms are as nice as ever, however could now do with some work to bring them into the modern day now. A new TV from last year is nice but there are other things that would mean more to guests.
Still wrangles with me that we have to pay 30 Euros for the safe and the fridge. I also refused to pay for WiFi too this year. Feels a little like the innkeeper from Les Mis sadly!!! There is no need for this, these little extras would normally to be expected of such a place, and should be. Minor grumble.
Overall we loved it as we normally do - if you are going to Gran Canaria, you will find nothing better
Upgrade if you want branded drinks - seems like good value as you can have bottles of wine, Cava inc...
