“Nice but pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2012 via mobile

The 'steak' was a hanger steak - although it didn't mention this in menu - and it was very smokey. I suppose I should have asked what type of steak it was to begin with. Bit pricey too.

“Exceptional”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2012 via mobile

We had the fixed price three course lunch and it was an absolute joy. The food is really considered (of a French bent) with really clean flavours and clearly high quality produce. They have had a chef change since last time I went and the food is even better! My dessert was the standout - chocolate and salted caramel tart - oh. My. God. Insanely delicious!! It is also a really beautiful space to dine in. Short but really interesting wine list too.

“Great lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2012

We ate lunch here with some friends from the UK. The food was superb. The meal was 6 or 7 course set menu and it was fresh and light, interesting without being over complex, perfectly cooked and well presented. Each course flowed on nicely and the desert was extraordinary - a small forest scene rendered in sweets. There was really nothing we could complain about. At the end we felt satisfied rather than stuffed.

It wasn't cheap but it was great value for the quality. The service was prompt but unhurried and the room was elegant and not too noisy. We liked the rope sculptures especially and it's always good to be able to see the kitchen. Its a small place and the clearly care about the quality.
