“Great comfortable stay for weary travellers!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

This hotel was recommended to us by our B&B hosts in southwest Ireland. We needed a hotel at the airport prior to our early flight departure.
The Maldron was the perfect stopping point. It's close to the Car rental return, close to the terminals and it was quiet and comfortable.
The lobby/bar area is very large and has a friendly feeling, granted that the soccer finals were taking place and it was quite lively.
The staff that welcomed us were efficient and friendly. They had us organized with pre-booked rooms in no time at all. Our two rooms were on this main level. Rooms were comfortable, clean and had lots of room. We had no problems with towels although the second set were located in the closet across from the bathroom. Had a great sleep here.
We ate our evening meal in the bar area. Yes, some of the furniture was a bit dated and well used but it was all comfortable and clean. The food was great and that good ol' Irish beer sure tasted good!
Transportation from the hotel to the airport ran every 20 minutes and the driver was friendly and helpful.
I would happily stay here again.

Room Tip: We were at the back away from the road. It was quiet.

Room was very clean and comfortable, but a bit small. No elevator, but staff would deliver bags to room upon request. Food in hotel was average for a mid-priced hotel at a major airport, however the service was absolutely terrible. Transportation to the terminal for departure was timely, comfortable and the driver was very courteous. No jet or vehicle noise.

On our way to a wedding abroad, we stayed at the Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport overnight. My wife and I travelled by bus as we were flying back into Cork.
On arrival at the airport there was a courtesy shuttle bus to take us to the hotel, very convenient. The staff offered to help us with our luggage. The rooms were bright and spacious and pleasant.

The only downside was that the service at the bar, this could be improved. Food was just ok.

In the morning, as we had a very early flight, breakfast wasn't an option, but there was coffee/tea making facility available in the reception area. Great idea. Enjoyed a coffee while waiting for the shuttle bus to arrive. There was also (for a small fee) a weighing scales to check if your luggage wasn't overweight before boarding.

Overall, enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel. Would stay again.

We stayed in the Maldron in June to catch an early flight and it is one busy, buzzing hotel. The car parking outside the hotel is, in essence, find a spot that isn't blocking access and hope for the best. Waiting to check-in took a little longer than was comfortable but the staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The hotel seems to sprawl and our room was a short hike with a couple of short flights of stairs to negotiate. Why not take the lift? We were told there wasn't one. Our room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable with a good bathroom and foolproof shower.

We booked the hotel restaurant that evening and the staff were pleasant and friendly, the food was just okay, which made it a little overpriced. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and if we stayed at the Maldron again we would probably order a burger or something from the bar.

The buffet style breakfast was good and some of the staff who served us in the restaurant the previous night were up clearing tables and replenishing the buffet and fair play to them they were as pleasant and friendly as the night before.

Check out was fairly straight forward with no undue delay or wait and we were on our way to catch our flight to Verona.

First and last Impression, this is a busy business hotel that delivers what's expected from it.

Stayed for one night prior to catching a flight. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I had dinner in the restaurant, service was fast and pleasant. I had sirloin steak which was satisfactory , but nothing to rave about.
Breakfast was also fine, and the servers were attentive and pleasant. This is a busy quite impersonal hotel, but was good for my purposes.
The shuttle service was excellent with a very courteous and helpful driver. This made for a very relaxed, stress-free departure. Would use again.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel - we had an early flight and wanted to be near the airport and The Maldron was fantastic. The staff were excellent - helping me pay a road toll as l was having trouble - the breakfast was fantastic. We had a hire car and was so easy to get back to the hotel after checking it in as well. For piece of mind l would'nt hesitate to stay here again. Rooms were very comfortable and clean.

I have stayed here twice before my flights out of Dublin airport. The positives of this hotel are the proximity to the airport and the shuttle service. The hotel staff are very kind but tend to be very busy as both flight crews and tourists stay at the hotel. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the airport terminals in case you miss a shuttle. The rooms are average but at least clean and roomy. My only complaint on this hotel is that even though they have 3 floors in the hotel they have no elevators. And it's quite ridiculous to expect people traveling on international flights to lug their suitcases up and down stairs.
