Stayed overnight at the vineyard and sampled the evening meal which was really enjoyable but i felt over priced. My wife had a lemon sponge sweet with blackberries which cost £7.00 and I had ice cream which was a selection of three scoops for £5.00. For main course I had the rib eye steak 12 ounces with potatoes and veg which cost £24.00 which i thought was expensive.
The service was good and the staff friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location lovely.

Thank you for your review, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us at Llanerch Vineyard.

We offer lots of variety in our restaurant, from Bistro style relaxed informal dining at Lunchtime (main course for approx. £10-£15), to more formal Set menu (2 courses £20 3 Courses £25) and A'la Carte meals at a slight premium in the evening. We pride ourselves on using the freshest local ingredients and as a consequence we pay a premium price for these items, which has to be passed on to the end user. We are sorry that you felt this was over priced, however cheeper prices could only be produced if we used lesser quality items.

Regards,

Ryan Davies

My family and I went to Cardiff for holidays and we were guests in this place. Is a vineyard with a cute house. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast comes with a menu (there are like 5 delicious options). Is so peaceful.

We booked in for 2 nights during Easter break which was a day after our wedding for a relaxing get away.
We were made to feel welcome from the moment we booked. The room was lovely and very well equipped for a b&b room. We had a fridge, microwave, cutlery and plates. The hairdryer was very good quality and not one of those irritating gentle whisper jobbies you normally get in hotel rooms! The room was large immaculately clean and very comfortable (Perle suite).
The breakfasts... Just wow. The grilled breakfast was to die for. The quality of the produce speaks for itself.
The only qualms I had was the shower was a bit useless as it kept flopping and you had to hold the head to stop it drooping.
The other issue I had was the walls and ceiling were not very soundproof as we could hear every footstep and all their conversations from the room above. On the last night they decided to get a bit erm frisky and we were woken at 4 am by them and was then kept awake for a further 30-40 minutes by them wandering around and chatting... Needless to say breakfast the next day was interesting trying to figure out who the culprits were.

We had an evening meal on the Wednesday evening as they were closed on Tuesday and it was simply delicious. My duck breast was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed every mouthful.

Overall the staff were highly attentive friendly and approachable a real credit to the place.
The setting is lovely and peaceful with some nice woodland walks I wished we had experienced more.
The room was very well furnished and was well equipped
The food? Just beautiful.

Thank you for a perfect stay it was just what we needed.

The McGoughs.

Room Tip: The Perle suite is lovely and very well equipped just across from main reception.

Visited for the first time today for a birthday celebration. Afternoon tea was served and was very good, washed down with bubbly from the vineyard. Staff were attentive and efficient. If I was being picky I would probably suggest white linen table cloths.

Three of us friends met for lunch on a Saturday, had heard good reviews so needed to see for ourselves! Our table was booked for 1.45 and we arrived 10 mins before that and we were shown to our table straightaway they were very busy, all other tables were taken. The service from start to finish was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, always a smile off the waitress whenever she approached our table, gave us as much time as we liked to browse the menu, answering any questions we had on the food, which when it arrived was absolutely first class, one had the seabass, another the pork, the other the steak, all plates went back cleaned after every course!! Prices were good and the choice was excellent, we all three agreed that we would return and recommend!

Me and my partner stayed at the hotel for the night on the 29th March to celebrate my birthday and our experience was perfect. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We were really impressed with our room (The Orion Suite) which was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I hadn't packed some personal items and the woman at the reception was very accommodating and went and brought me what I needed, which was extremely helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant in the evening, the service was spectacular as was the food and the vineyards own wine is lovely. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and we felt very taken care of by the owner and the staff. Have only good things to say about our experience and we are already planning to go back again. Definitely recommend the Vineyard to anybody!!
