Had the misfortune to stay here on the night of 9th December as my son had an interview at the university. Initially it didn't look too bad, a bit shabby in places and not in a chic way, but seemed clean enough and really we only needed somewhere to sleep after all. But that's where the problem started, we had a twin room and my bed was ridiculously uncomfortable, with springs sticking out in places, my son's not a lot better, and the pillows were so hard sleep was just impossible. No plug sockets near the beds so charging laptops etc had to be done the other side of the room, very inconvenient. Had no time to complain in the morning as the only person on reception was busy dealing with another guest but I did write to the hotel to complain on returning home, but have not had a reply.
