“A good value neighbourhood restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

This busy neighbourhood restaurant serves up large helpings of Italian 'comfort food' at very reasonable prices and you can BYO wine with cheap corkage. Pasta and veal dishes are both good. Staff are very friendly. Although this is not a sophisticated dining experience it absolutely hits the spot if you want simple, straight forward Italian food in a jolly and unpretentious setting.

“Good for lunch or morning coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

We had a very good lunch here yesterday. The specials board was extensive. Home made lasagne was very good. Service was good. The place was not very busy. Not a memorable eating experience but good and the cheapest lunch we have had in Sydney.

“Fabulous Service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

But food falls just short of being more than mediocre. Nice local eatery but doesn't cut the mustard for dining out in Sydney. Have had better pub Italian.

“Love the location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

Kirribilli is one of my favourite parts of Sydney with its proximity to the city and harbour - it is quite densely populated and lots of activity - very intense and in-your-face with cafes and life.
There is nothing extraordinary about the food or coffee in this cafe - it is just a nice place to enjoy the best of what Kirribilli offers.

“Relaxed, good food, good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

I recently had lunch here with my daughter. We were shown to a table as soon as we entered the restaurant and offered menus and my coffee order was taken immediately. Lunch was delicious. We had the Lamb Salad with beautiful tender slices of very moist lamb. We weren't rushed and were able to enjoy a leisurely lunch. Would definitely go back. Maybe breakfasts are noisier, but that is often the same everywhere. This is Kirribilli so not expecting to get a cheap lunch, bu the quality and freshness of the food makes it certainly worth it.
