We had an overcast day while in Fitou and decided to visit Reserve Africaine Sigean. We found the entry price quite expensive at 29 euros per person but taking the prices overall in France, this didn't seen to be so bad. There were 4 adults and 2 12 year old's in our party and they younger ones were excited about seeing the animals up close. Sadly there wasn't much to see, maybe it was the time of year (September ) or whether there just wasn't much to see. The highlight of the day - the black bears - was over shadowed by the game keeps shouting at us to keep moving along so didn't really have a chance to see them well. Other areas seemed baron. The restaurant was expensive (as usual) and the gift shop was poor. Total time spent there was about 4 hours, after this the kids were bored and had seen all the park had to offer. Good for younger children or anyone going for a first safari experience.
