“Comfortable and clean, wifi not in room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013 via mobile

Very clean and comfortable hotel.
Wifi only near lobby.
Breakfast was very tasty.
It is better to have cash as our credit card was not accepted. I definitely would advice this hotel for romantic nights.
Perfect for couples.

the nicest, most professional, customer service orientated staff with excellent english, we encountered in sicily. a clean comfortable room, it is easy to park close by, tasty dinner at da salvatore. the only downside was that the breakfast was all a bit stale - there were not many guests at the time so turnover would be low. offering a smaller range of fresher items would be much appreciated. plenty of good photo opportunities around town

Easily the best hotel in the area. Friendly and pofessional staff, nice large room and good breakfast. The hotel does not operate a restaurant for lunch and dinner. There is only one restaurant in town, and it was closed the day we were there. We were advised to drive down to the town below for our meals, Petralia Sottana. The road is not inviting, to say the least. We made it for lunch, but bought bread, ham and cheese and ate in the room rather than risking the trip to Sottana again in the dark. The hotel could have opened the breakfast bar for such an "emergency".

This is a charming and well-appointed small hotel in the mountaintop village of Petralia Soprana. It is located in a wonderfully renovated old aristocratic villa, everything being done with taste and comfort in mind. The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean with thick towels and nice bedding. Each rooms has its own computer that doubles as a TV, and Wi-Fi is available in the common areas. The thick walls and new windows with beautiful wooden shutters make for an almost too quiet room - one of our group overslept because it was so dark and quiet. Breakfast was varied and filling. The reception desk personnel were very accommodating and spoke English. Although the town is spectacularly situated in the Madonie mountains and lovely to walk around, there is not much to do there. However the only restaurant in town, Trattoria da Salvatore, is not to be missed if it is open. The only drawback to this delightful facility is the driving access; it is located on a tiny street that should not be driven down, even though a sign on the main road tells you to turn there. Go around the corner to the town square to park and walk back a block.

The hotel is nice and small. The rooms are very clean, everything is new and in good condition. A very good place where you can stay while visiting this beautiful area. The people at the front desk were very helpful and very nice. Petralia soprana itself is lovely.

Hard to find, but when we at last found it it was a really nice hotel, located in the beautfully small village Petralia Soprana. We spent the evening in the town square, really picturesquely. The room was nice and tidy but the breakfast was really dull.

The village consists of small alleys and a town square and has a lovely view since it is located on a hill top.
