A beautiful B&B / Inn. Great accommodation, delicious breakfasts, superb hospitality and excellent facilities of pool / loungers / patio relaxing areas. John and Jane and their son Lex are extremely welcoming hosts and it was a joy to relax in their home. Already planning a return trip.

The house, the rooms, the garden and the friendly couple that runs this place...everything is just perfect. Our kids loved to hang in the pool and we had a relaxing time in the nice sunchairs beside. The breakfast is number one!!!
The only two negative things with this place is about the location. It´s about 10 minutes walk to "city" and the beach and we had to walk along a road with a lot of traffic. And there is no nice views over the pretty town and sea from the hotel.

Our second holiday in Calella and first stay at the Casa Dos Torres, which we can totally recommend. You are made to feel 'at home' immediately by Jane, John and son Lex. You are not only a guest at a five star B and B but you soon feel part of the owners family. Our room, at the rear of the villa, was perfect with its round bedroom, ensuite and 'dressing
area' all spotless.

Breakfast is a highlight with a great choice: served in the garden patio area, you can choose a private table or share with other guests. There are different garden areas where you can 'chill' and the pool area with good sunbeds and a hamock for the adventurous!

The small resort of Calella is a delight and a 10 min stroll away, a little longer coming back as its uphill all the way, good for walking off dinner.

We were delighted with our weeks stay at Casa Dos Torres and thank, Jane, John and Lex for making our week very much a 'holiday' just as it should be.

Absolutely the best. From the moment we arrived at Casa Dos Torres, my mom, aunt, cousin and I were welcomed with the utmost warmth by John, Jane, and their son Lex. Perfect little rooms with windows overlooking the garden, a lovely pool area, plenty of room to hang out with other guests (we were lucky enough be there when their longtime friends were visiting from the UK and spent quite a bit of time exchanging stories with them) or just hide away with a book for a few hours. We came back from our first dinner in the village to an animated group of guests and hosts sharing bottles of wine and gin and tonics. They insisted we join them, and poured us all glasses without even a thought to whether we'd pay them for it. A 10 minute walk to the beach - far enough away not to feel bombarded, but close enough to just run down to the store. There's a fridge for the guests to use if they want to keep items cold. The breakfasts were just amazing in their quality and range. Jane sat down on our first afternoon there and (after providing a super-helpful map) helped us plan our next day's excursion into the surrounding countryside - ending a fabulous trip to Dali's wife's castle with an amazing tapas lunch under tall trees by an old church. John was even nice enough to drop us in a village several miles away so that we could hike the shoreline back to Calella de Palafrugell one day. To top it all off, he even shipped a left-behind item back to my aunt in the States. THE BEST!

This is the kind of place you plan your vacation around. I hope I am lucky enough to find myself in Catalonia again in the future and if I do, I know where I'll be staying! Thanks John, Jane, and Lex for a great three-night stay. I wish it could have been a week.

Room Tip: My cousin and I shared a room whose bathroom was across the hall, but it was not an issue for even a...

First Costa brava it's awesome. The biggest mistake of our two weeks in Europe was not spending more time here. Second this is the best place we stayed in our trip. The house and location is fantastic but the main thing is Jane. Basically you aren't a guest in her b and b but rather a guest in her house. This is everything good about staying in an and b in the first place.a nice room of course but also great common areas to hang out and an environment of family with the hosts and other guests which is exactly what you get here.

Room Tip: Ask about the 2 story rooms.....I didn't see them but they sounded great.

Last weekend me and my girlfriend visited this lovely place for the second time. We want to recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to relax.
For us, one of the best places to stay if you want to discover and enjoy the Costa Brava, their beaches, restaurant,.. Then John and Jane are the best hosts you cand find a really friendly people. The attention of detail are excellent. And you´ll feel like if you are at home.
Jane´s breakfast are really delicious. And John will help you with all your doubts about the places to visit.
You know that we´ll go back as soon as possible.
Warm Regards from Lidia & Sergio

(a late review due to password probs with trip advisor!!) Stayed with a party of friends last september following a boating holiday in south of france, a regular holiday, as bmi baby ruined our plans by no longer flying to perpignan we flew to barcelona & drove to france & thought we'd have a few days in spain at the end of the trip. as previous reviews testify, believe it! nothing is too much trouble for John & Jane, they leave you to it, but are always around if needed. beautifull rooms, beautifull gardens & pool, whatever you want for breakfast you will get! they will give you local info & even run you into town & pick you up later. we will be back & I would never hesitate to recomend.

Room Tip: we were in a beautiful tower room, the bathroom was downstairs which wasn't a problem for us &am...
