My husband and I with two friends stayed here for one night only but it was the best accommodation we had during our one-week tour of Tassie! Very clean and comfortable; reasonably priced; friendly hosts; restful and quiet atmosphere; and the breakfast - WOW! Will definitely stay here again given another chance to visit the area...

We stayed here for only one night but had a really good time and highly recommend it. Arriving on a Sunday we didn't really know where we could eat for dinner but our problems were solved with a wonderful home cooked meal at RSL prices!! desert is highly recommended.

The room was comfy and had a private ensuite and breakfast was great too...home cooked muffins included!

The advise we got on where to go on our last day in Tassie was great too, make sure you ask about the shop in Latrobe it's fantastic.

Castagni isn't actually in Devonport, it's about a 10-15 minute drive but it's located in a quiet beachside village called Shearwater. It's a great base for exploring the North of Tasmania (Craddle Mountain, Sheffield, Stanley, Launceston, Mole Creek etc).
