I really don't know where to begin. Firstly a very un-flexible check out time where you as the customer are made to feel like you are a general inconvenience to the owners.
BUT... once you get there you realise the sooner you are out the better as I have never been so overwhelmed by the stench of dogs. This is a tiny cottage and the owners have two gorgeous dogs which are huge. Maybe customers should be warned? Eating a surprisingly stingy sized English breakfast (for countryside folk) with the smell of dogs isn't exactly relaxing. To then find dark hairs in it too is just repulsive.
The parents weren't in and two young girls (I Imagine the daughters) were running the place and were very sweet but it has no essence of the warmth of B&B's I have been to before where the owners take a second to actually have a chat. These guys just want you in and out.
The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and full of broken springs. We are both 6ft and up and we couldn't stand up in the bathroom.
I have never written a bad review but at £75 a night these guys are having a laugh and I’ve never felt so un-relaxed and like I want to get out of a b&b so quickly.
Don't waste your money.
