“lovely holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

We have just returned from a two week stay and had a fabulous time . There is just under a two hour transfer from antalya airport but it went quickly with a comfort break half way .The hotel is nicely situated near a shopping centre and very close to the mosque . The rooms were lovely , very clean and air conditioned. On arrival we were expecting four standard rooms but we were given two standard rooms and a family room . We complained and were moved in the morning . The hotel is big but spacious , there were always sunbeds available without getting up at dawn . The main pool was busy but there is a smaller pool which was lovely and across the road is park alaiye where is as children's pool and a big pool and there was always Sun bed availability , this opens at 9am and there is a lovely snack bar here and tennis courts .. the food I enjoyed .. lots of variation , people were leaving the lids off making some dishes cold . Breakfast was very enjoyable especially the omelettes .food available all day , all very nice ..there are three a larte carte restaurants . Turkish , Mediterranean and chinese. We tried and loved them all.The entertainment team worked hard with activities all day and shows at night. Gala dinner on alternate Fridays, foam party every Monday and very good professional shows .there is a disco until 2 am .

Positives ....lovely staff ..lovely hotel . Plentiful food .lovely beach
Negatives.....very slippery floors !!!! Saw several falls .

We stayed for two weeks mid July ..as we were leaving it appeared to be getting busier.British holidaymakers were the minority but we met some nice people and we had a lovely holiday and would definitely return.

Room Tip: All rooms seemed very good ..we were in block seven which was very peaceful .

We had ordered 2 standart rooms, after arrival at the hotel told us man fo reception, that they made a mistake and we can go to other hotel or we can sleep in family room. Family room its one double bed and 2 extra bed. We were 2 adults couple. We rejected this 2 option. Receptionist told us that we can sleep at reception.!!! After 4 hours at the reception we agreed to stay in another hotel for one night. It was Jasmin Hotel, it is 300 meter from alaiye. Hotel jasmin: mold in room, without the beach, all inglusive? i wantde water and waiter wanted money, water its extra, i wanted some drink, waiter wanted some money, sometimes 3 euros, sometimes 2 euros...:)

Delegate spoke that in Hotel Alaiye its mistake in booking absolutely normal, happens often. Receptionist dont speak english?! on waiter its normal, but on reception?

Hotel Jasmin was before 2 years hotel for domestic people, Islamic hotel.

We have ordered 2 double bed rooms, in foto you can see what its dobble bed in alayie.

Hi there, My partner & I stayed for 2 weeks here in February 2013. First impressions were excellent, Very clean & well set out. Plenty of food on offer & there was food being cooked every evening on the bbq at the side of pool, lots of fruit & sweets available, Fantastic pool although a bit on the cold side, saying that ,it was February! The waiters & waitresses couldn't do enough for you & were always there to fill your glass when it was reaching the bottom. A very well set out spa with reasonable prices, although we didn't use it. Indoor pool was clean & never busy. Great little gymnasium at side for a work out. Plenty going on in this hotel & entertainments team were good fun. This was all inclusive & I mean All Inclusive as in no time limits at the bar, still drinking vodka at 3am not like most places that close at 12pm on the dot!.
i Would recommend this hotel highly & for £900 for 2 was fantastic value for money.

hi ive just come back from this hotel for the 3rd time and it is still a great place to visit the food is good, theres always something there to eat and they cook a lot more meat outside then they did before, the entertainment has changed since I last went so I didn't know what to expect as we got on so well with many of the old entertainment team, there was aerobics everyday if that's your thing but I would like to congratulate Mustafa and ali on making the trip worthwile if they could get a few more in like these 2 then they would have a great team, but I noticed that 1 or 2 didn't seem to want to know, the rooms were kept tidy and had cleen shhets and towels everyday, I would have give this a 5 rating only 4 because the internet this year was so poor, when it used to be so good, I rely on the internet to speak to my daughter back home but some nights we just couldn't get on there, if they sort that out then it would have a 5 off me, also there is a small park across the road which is a lot easier to get a sunbed and the food is good for kids as well, also free icecream, I would also recommend you go and watch the dolphin show which is about 8 mins on the dolmus its cheap and is a great show

Very good hotel, not luxury.. But very good for what u paid.
Very good entertainments, enjoyed every show.
Delicious food, but u have to pay for fresh juices.
Unfortunately disco was only working few times a week and was always empy.
Otherwise, its a great value for money.

After booking our trip I read the reviews and decided to go with an open mind- but really not for English people!!!

Rooms: beautiful can't complain very clean and tidy and rooms made up every day if you wanted, although all inclusive a fridge was provided and topped up with drinks every day. Plenty of room on the balcony and a range of TV program's to watch if you wanted.

Facilities: spa was expensive but beautifully designed, very professional looking and treatments were lovely. Gym available (not that we used it) indoor pool very cold!! Out door pool was ok hard to get sun beds and an umbrella unless you got up at the crack of dawn!! Polo games were fun to watch although very competitive (not for children to play) Private beach was small but bar for drinks and toilet facility were ok.

Restaurant: if you love eating carbs this is your place to go!! Amazing fruit carvings but little else to enjoy after your 3rd day of the same food, not enough tables and felt like a school dinner hall fighting through other people to get any food other guests and staff very rude!! Not helpful at all!!
Snack bar staff were the rudest!!! None spoke English not surprising as we were the only English people there all other guests were German or Russian and that's all the staff spoke. There are a lot of cats and they have a cat feeding station but staff are cruel and chase them and throw things at them.

Reception: useless!! No one spoke English! We hired a safe that kept locking and wouldn't open we phoned the desk 5 times and waited 45 mins when told they would send help we went down to explain the situation and the two members of staff spoke to each other in German then persisted to laugh in our face before deciding to get the man from the spa who could speak so e little English!!

Overview

Rude staff, poor service, constant repeat of food, other guests were treated better and served and helped before us, chinise restaurant was discussing never again!!!

Room Tip: If you want to visit turkey and have a friendly atmosphere and great holiday experience Do NOT stay...
