Owner description: Step into the Ladby Ship grave - Denmark's only Viking ship grave - and walk around the ship, where a Viking king in the early 900's was sent off on his last journey. See an exhibition about the ship and the ship grave, and follow along in the building of the full-size Ladby Ship and the sewing of the Ladby Tapestry.

“Back to the year 923”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Amazing landmark lost in the country where this burial ship was found . You can enjoy a relaxing visit in a wondeful country side . Visit the ship where the King was buried with all his goods including eleven horses , three or four dogs and his servant .
After the visit at the ship you can stop in the small museum where some of the remaining goods are displayed and a short movie shows how it could be the burial at the King age .

Worthed a visit with children .

“Insight into Viking burials.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

The museum at Ladby features a 21 foot Viking ship that was used for the burial of a Viking prince. It can be viewed by entering a tunnel under the burial mound where it was originally placed. The museum has interesting exhibits about the burial and Viking life in general.
