Owner description: Milan is long- established as the capital of fashion and design. Fidenza Village, 60 minutes from Milan and Bologna, complements the best of both disciplines, with over more than 100 outlet boutiques of luxury brands clustered between cafés and restaurants along open-air pedestrianised malls. Fidenza Village offers remarkable reductions of up to 70% on the recommended retail price, all year round. With niche Italian brands like Duvetica, Sutor Mantellasi, Frette, Pinko, and Simonetta, alongside international brands from Armani to Versace and Brooks Brothers, to Guess, Class Roberto Cavalli Marni, Paul Smith and, Swarovski and Missoni, the Village has something for everyone. The region’s famed gastronomy can be enjoyed at the Village’s eateries; Barlumeria is a fusion of a modern bar and traditional delicatessen, while Obikà bases its menu around the finest Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP from the Campania region. The Village has offers thea Shopping Express® service – a daily luxury return coach service to Milan, a personal shopper on request, free Wi-Fi and an English-speaking welcome service.

“Definitely worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

Just 15 minutes from Parma, a great place to go for the day, especially in Spring or Autumn. Can get very busy on Saturdays and Sundays but long opening hours during the week also. Lindt shop is a MUST and a heaven for chocolate-lovers!

“Worth it”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012

Fidenza village has a bus that collects you from Milan and returns you end of the day. The place is about one hour away from Milan. They give you a 10% discount voucher to use on purchases that are NOT on sale. They have a wide selection to choose from. You have to go through all the ranges and you will find some gems. Larger sizes are scarce. Was disappointed that the winter ranges were already out. Was hoping to find summer clothing on sale. Apparently they were all sold out in July. The only really disappointing place was the restuarant that we went to. Too many flies and we had to wait a while to be served.

I recommend Fidenza village.

“Great place for brands shopping!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2012

We went to Fidenza Village from Milano by the Fidenza Express, which we booked the previous evening online - for 10 Euro pp . The (very comfortable) bus awaited near the Castello at the bus stop and left exactly on time. The bus driver gave us an additional 10% discount voucher. The way took approx.1.5 hours. We arrived there around 11:30. The bus back leaves at 18:00, so you have plenty of time to enjoy your shopping day.

There is a vast variety of brands and shops for any type of person - young, sporty, business, elegant, classic - everything. The stores are all fairly spacious and allow for good assortment. The "new collection" items are still fairly cheaper here than "outside", especially after you get the VIP 10% discount from the bus driver. If there is an extra sale - the prices of premium brands reach Zara level! To name a few examples, my husband bought a Calvin Klein Collection 100% cashmere coat for ~140 euro, i bought a large leather Cocinelle shoulder bag for around 70... Again, keep in mind these are the winter sales, which is significantly lower than a regular season price. Still, even the regular outlet price is worth while for the brand lover. Also - if you spend over 150 Euro in the same store, and you are not a EU citizen, you can get a tax return, equal to ~10% of your purchase. Remind the salesperson to fill the form!
Other than clothes, there is a bedding store, a cosmetics store, kitchen and home appliances, Lindt store (amazing hot chocolate!), a few cafes/restaurants, and in general the atmosphere is fairly relaxing, definitely comparing to an indoor shopping mall or the big shopping streets. We ended up doing all our shopping there, leaving the rest of the trip to enjoy ourselves pretty much shopping free.

I most definitely recommend!
