The receptionist was very welcoming, and our room was very large and comfortable. It was also pristine - not a speck of dust. We had a room at the front of the hotel, which faces onto the main road, but we weren't troubled at all by traffic noise.
The bathroom was very nice: I am 5'10" and had no trouble with the size of the bath. There were three feature lights that constantly change colour, which might irritate some, but we quite liked.
There was a hand-written welcome card, proper coffee, iron & ironing board, proper fridge for the mini-bar, decent selection of programmes on the tv and complimentary wifi.
It's a shame that the main restaurant only opens half the week, but there are a couple of other places nearby.
The big downside is the rather loud music in the public areas: irritating and unnecessary. Still, would definitely would stay here again.
