Fell in love with the Twelve Hotel....stayed there over the October bank holiday weekend & couldn't fault the place. In a lovely location in Barna, just a short walk to the sea front. Should you wish to pop into Galway city, it's less than a 10 minute drive and in the opposite direction, you're at the gateway to Connemara.

Rooms were very comfortable. The Twelve Pins bar was like a second home. With the wet autumn weather outside, was great to curl up on a fireside sofa, with a glass of vino in hand. Would highly recommend the breakfasts - normally wouldn't get up for this when staying in most hotels, but service & food was excellent...great choice.

Looking forward to a return visit.

We stayed in the Twelve Hotel for a weekend in October and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We simply could not fault the place or its staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I think that says it all.

Saw an add in papers on visit to Galway and connemara and after a cold night in a B&B in clifden we stayed here.
Great value,lovely room, table service at breakfast, great walk along pier , can recommend at highest level.

What a super find this was. I needed a hotel on my way to the Arran Islands and just picked this one off the map. The rate was excellent and ever since arriving I have been surprised and delighted by this hotel. It is spotlessly clean, modern, well finished and the rooms are fitted with everything you could want. No need to ring down for anything like an iron, kettle, coffee machine - it's all there. The pictures on the website are, for once, a true reflection of the look and feel of this hotel. I had supper in the West restaurant which was great - food, service and decor. My wife and I will definitely be back - maybe to sample one of the suites! If you are in this area definitely check it out.
