“Excellent Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

We stayed here for 1 night with friends and overall the hotel is very good. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The room was nice and very big for 2 of us ,the handwritten card in the room is a lovely touch. The bar was very lively on the saturday night we were there and there was a good buzz in the place. The food was nice and the breakfast was excellent....
The only slight negative is that the room was a little expensive and their isnt much of a view from the window in the room.

Loved this small boutique hotel. Very stylish and comfortable but the best parts are the service and the food. I went for a partners birthday and anniversary and they had hand decorated cakes in the room, an upgrade and more. The staff are the friendliest in the world and I had the best massage ever with a big hearted Irish girl from barna?

Stayed here again in a triple room - fantastic! Our stay was brilliant! We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who presented us with a much enjoyed iced tea on arrival. Our room was just lovely - spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. I was delighted to see that a reading lamp was provided this time, as lighting in general in the hotel is particularly / peculiarly dim and was very frustrating on prior visits as I like to read quite a bit! So hats off for that! The only fault we all found was the uncomfortable pillows but hey, that's a personal preference anyway!!
Food in the Pins Bar was also excellent and proffered a great menu-we were totally spoilt for choice! Really friendly and efficient waiting staff - Zsolt in particular was an excellent waiter and was extremely pleasant and charming and had great fun with the kids! Breakfast and dinner were both fantastic and very reasonably priced - couldn't fault it at all!! Go and visit - you won't be sorry!

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 1263 and it was lovely - really quiet and brighter than some of the other rooms I...

What a great place to be taken to for a surprise family celebration. My family organised the Suite with all the treats for us and the Staff all colluded in the element of surprise. As other reviewers say everything is top class- from the rooms, the decor, the food but especially the courteous and genuinely friendly staff. There are so many lovely touches such as the generous provision of their spa products to complimentary coffee/tea on departure. The car park is easily accessed and has plenty of room and as well as all this the location just a few hundred yards from the sea and from other pubs and restaurants is close to perfection. Well done to all concerned

Just stayed one night in the Twelve as we were at a wedding nearby. Thought the stay was very nice. The complimentary iced tea on check in and vouchers for coffee on check out were a very nice touch as was the card in our room to wish us a pleasant stay. All the staff we met were very friendly.
I thought the room was lovely, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, tea / coffee making facilities. All the things hotel rooms should have.
We would stay there again and next time I would like to use the spa!

Very friendly atmosphere in hotel and bar staff extremely attentive. Dinner in the restaurant outstanding with great advice from the Semillon. Had a massage in the spa which was the best ever. Website needs to promote spa facilities better.

Spent a cosy night away in this gem earlier in the year. As it was a special occasion we booked the Funnymoon suite which was full of luxurious treats. Really appreciated little touches such as the welcome glass of juice to the complementary Prosecco to the voucher for coffee on departure. Staff were lovely! We ate in the Pins gastro bar which despite being very busy was welcoming & organised. We popped out for a few drinks to a local bar then returned for some bedtime cocktails. Would definitely return!
